I thought so for a while too. Now if they swap her out, they’ll look like they’re in total disarray.
I honestly hope they keep her. If things can remain on the up-and-up, Trump could win this thing w/ 400 EV. She’s that bad of a candidate.
A lot of folks are fond of saying that people don’t vote FOR the Democrat, they vote AGAINST Trump. They conveniently forget that that sword cuts both ways. It doesn’t help their argument any.

I’ll admit I thought Newsom was always the plan, but it’s pretty clear the democrats are making it black and white women vs the world.
Their entire messaging will be about race, abortion, “democracy” for everyone.
They’ll tell us the economy is good, the border is under control, and democracy is under attack.
Is guess it’s up to reasonable people to remember how their financial situation was under trump compared to the Biden Harris administration.

But I don't think so now just out of Sunk Cost. Not for reasons of principle, practicality, or timing... simply on the basis of sunk cost. It took so much political capital within the party to oust Biden and so much favors with the media to hype Karmala, they don't want to have to pay that price this cycle again.

Harris is going nowhere unless she’s legit rendered incapable to an extent that even the majority of us here would agree “yeah, she afflicted.” It would take something pretty severe. Something legit life threatening to herself obviously, perhaps her husband as well. Not.

Nobody wants to talk about the illegal cheat votes.....so the DEM candidate really doesn't matter.

You’re right about that. She’ll be the nominee before the convention.

You have children or drive, do you? And if so what part of the country are you from?

Well the problem becomes the string option probably ain’t gonna fare too well against the other side’s ace. Who already has a winning record against her. Which by the way is routinely explained away by insisting she was an all-time bad candidate. Some even say worst Democrat candidate ever.
I’m going to assume you’re now laughing with me.

Yep. He can’t focus on a policy attack which would probably make this election a landslide. He has to dumb it down and bring up racial arguments that turn people away.

Oh, I don't think she could beat Trump, but I wouldn't put it past her to pull out all the stops for the opportunity to try.
