The DA doesn't want a conviction. He wants more riots and he will get them. Chauvin will conveniently walk right around the midterm elections. They have just put this in their back pocket to be used when needed. Fine theatre.
The possible motive of over-charging can’t be overstated.
This is Keith Ellison we are talking about.
Ellison is as vicious a street hustler as exists in politics: like all progressives, Ellison views our court system as a means to achieve a political agenda, not as a means to achieve justice.
We certainly can’t discount the possibility that an acquittal was anticipated by this progtard tool.

What drug wasnt he on?
Diesel fuel
Opiates: check (so, downers is a check)
Pot: check
Meth: check (so, uppers is a check)
Physically his system didn't know if he was up, down, nor sideways. He was twisted and his system decided: "OK fine, we're outta here." And that's when he began his 1st day of sobriety which just so happens to correspond with his 1st day dead.

Methamphetamine and fentanyl at same time probably didn't contribute at all.

He’ll get off on murder but I can see them convicting of manslaughter. Either way, many cities will burn because nothing is good enough for the mob.

Don't be surprised if the jury convicts because they are gutless cowards who are afraid of the anger if they acquit.
We live in a cowardly and fricked up country.

The same way alcoholics do. Doesnt mean they aren't impaired and at risk to kill over

Chauvin should not get off Scot free. Regardless of Floyd’s initial crime, his resisting arrest, or his level of intoxication, there’s no justification for kneeling on a subdued man’s neck for nearly 9 minutes.
It is almost like you forgot you wrote the bold words right above. They are absolutely the justification for Chauvin employing the tactics he was trained to utilize in the exact situation he found himself in. Chauvin did exactly what numerous police departments across the country do when trying to restrain someone who has become violently combative to ensure the safety of police officers.
