I’m wondering if that’s the long range goal of declaring the NRA a terrorist organization

I'm sure the long range goal is removal of all firearms from the city (except for LEO's and their personal security details).

Sounds like an upcoming campaign promise.

Waiting on Universal background checks so they can tie these two theories together.

How many NRA members are in SF? 2? 3?

Whether they actually tie the two together, it's a good observation.

The people who call the NRA a terrorist organization are the same people who want to decide whether individuals should have guns.

Honestly, I would rather see a ban on "assault rifles" than I would red flag laws enacted. And I am not in favor of either.

The NRA isn't even the best gun organization.

Better question,

how many NRA members have been mass shooters?

"Confiscate"...unlikely. They'll import votes until they can pass Universal Healthcare Law...and then designate guns a health care issue. At that point, anyone that wants healthcare, can turn in their gun...or do without healthcare.

Maybe, but it's more virtue signalling than anything else

I would LOVE for San Francisco to ban all firearms from the city. Then when things go to hell and people are being robbed left and right we would have yet another example to point to showing how banning guns doesn't work.

NRA is suing San Francisco now because of that designation. So, my guess is they will want to wait until the lawsuit is over before acting like douche bags again.

They're the most effective at Congressional arm twisting but they are more than a little swampy and any willingness to compromise with the gun grabbers is a defeat for Americans. We've tried it in the past and been stabbed in the back every time. NRA membership is resolute that we not give one more inch but I share your skepticism of the slickster lobbyists who run the joint. They work for gun makers more than gun owners and would trade the whole store to maintain immunity for manufacturers. I support that immunity whole heartedly but it's a minor issue compared to the back door efforts to establish an illegal national registry.
