Assuming no faithless electors, the new House elects the President and the new Senate elects the VP.

In the House each state votes as a single unit so you need to control 26 delegations.

269-269 goes to the House of Representatives for a vote. Each state delegation holds one vote. Dems have a majority of reps right now, thanks mainly to California and New York, but the GOP holds a 27-23 majority in state delegations. Trump wins.

So Republicans would decide the President, correct?

Not likely. Trump is not winning PA if he doesn't carry one of AZ, NV, WI, MN, MI. Map is more likely for him to win MN and WI to get him to 269 than just PA (but 269 is not going to happen this year)

vote in House by State delegation. Trump wins probably 29-21 with the new House breakdown as I see it after elections this year.

We gonna win Michigan and Wisconsin

But letting the house elect the president would be even better

That would cause the left to hate the constitution even more

I don’t see Biden winning AZ when freaking McSally is starting to lead.

Ah hell the chaos that would ensue would end this country. So since it is 2020 I fully expect it to happen.

I can't see Arizona, Nevada, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and New Hampshire all going blue. Some yes, all no. Now maybe Pennsylvania goes blue to counter that somewhat but the only circumstance I can see where Trump loses is massive voter fraud.

Less likely than Trump winning 45 states.

This election is most likely a landslide one way or another. There is really no middle ground.

I think Michigan is far more likely than Pennsylvania. So that would mean a Trump loss. That’s a very possible map.

I really want this to happen. When Liz Cheney gets the same vote as the 53 house members from California, the meltdown would exceed 2016.
