No I think he’s saying the outrage over other things is faux. Like putting a Ukrainian bumper sticker on your car. Just tells everyone you know nothing.

This has nothing to do with Ukraine and the situations are not similar. The comparison is dumb, regardless of where one stands on Ukraine.

Because they did so with the permission of the Iraqi government. This is a joint anti-terrorist operation with Iraqi Kurdistan, not an invasion.

My goodness we are a stupid country. Blind allegiance to an actor and his need for over the top money and supplies.

Meanwhile we have tragedies in Yemen and Sri Lanka. We have said Turkish/Iraqi issues.

People believe anything they’re told .

Yes, the civil wars in Yemen and Sri Lanka, and the Turkey-Kurdistan operations against the PKK with the permission of the Iraqi government are all the exact same thing as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Y’all wanna talk about real Nazis, just go to Turkey. It’s mind boggling, that the great and moral US and West, can be allies with a country like Turkey.

How so? Turkey is a NATO member because of their location, and nothing more.

I’d rather NATO control the straits than virtue signal on Turkish domestic politics.

The PKK’s most recent “terror” attack was in 2015, in 2018 the EU admitted the only reason the PKK was considered a “terrorist organization” was because Turkey said so. Turkey has made it punishable by death to be a Kurd in Turkey, routinely attacking, burning, killing Kurd settlements and when the Kurds pulled back into Iraq and Syria the Turks follow them.

Iraq has a US puppet government and the president is Barham Salih, a Kurd. This would be the equivalent of Poland having a Jewish president puppet of the UK allowing Nazi Germany to chase escaping Jews into Poland. It doesn’t make sense. No attack 7 years, and a country allows another country to invade it to terrorize civilians. These attacks were done in an autonomous Kurdish government zone against civilians, without provocation by a NATO country.

Your failure to understand that the PKK is not all of the Kurds is what doesn’t make sense. The situation itself is perfectly clear.

And with the cooperation of both the Iraqi and Iraqi Kurdistan authorities. What is your point exactly?

All three entities are enemies of the PKK.

Originally they were in NATO for landing strips to allow for quick launch and refueling purposes. Neither are a consideration today. They should be expelled from NATO at the very least.

Turkey has a history of genocide, even more recently.

See Armenia.

Why is it not in the news? Because Vladimir Putin isn't in charge of the attack.

The civil war in Yemen is the worst human tragedy of the last decade, largely due to the actions of one of our staunchest allies.

The sad thing here is that Turkey cannot be realistically kicked out of NATO, because that would mean essentially giving control of Bosphorus to Russia. Turkish governments past and present know this and abuse it. They even made the refugee deal into a similar leverage against the EU. Now they are diplomatically untouchable and we are seeing the results.

It’s made the news but after the last 19 years nobody gives a shite about Iraq as long as the oil keeps flowing.
