re: How does Trump walk that fine line, between getting justice and unifying the country?

Trump needs to make public statement that makes it clear with facts that Democrats have used government agencies to go after him and any other political opponents to the extent of orchestrating lax security which led to an assassination attempt against a former POTUS.
He needs to clearly explain what really happened during the so called J6 insurrection that again was devised by Democrats to create a fabricated national crisis allowing them unbridled attacks against their political opponents.
He needs to cite data that shows how social media was used to suppress any an all Democrat opposition to the extreme extent the POTUS was banned from Twitter.
He should use this evidence to show that he was wrongly impeached and wrongly indicted in every single case as part of a pattern of lawfare in which Democrats are using judicial systems to undermine their political opposition.
He should close by thanking the citizens of the U.S. for seeing through this deception to re-elect him.

Pardon all of the J6 political prisoners and then pardon Hunter. Say it is so we can heal.

IDK about pardoning Hunter. I know it would play well for some, but the core Lefties are still using lawfare against Trump, and all those affiliated with Trump.
This must stop. What next, when the olive branch has been extended, and they refuse?
I believe Trump not going after Hillary was that olive branch, and look what good it did. Absolutely nothing.
I think the iron fist needs to be brought into play.

I agree but in the grand scheme of things Hunter is nothing and his pardon will have no real impact on anything. But the symbolic gesture might earn a favor or two from Biden who’s already pissed off at his party.

He should do everything Obama and Biden did to unite the country.

Joe's a lifer, and has been full of himself for decades.
Trump can do anything he wants, but in Joe's mind, it'll be because he still believes he beat Trump outright in 2020.
He'll never admit it, but Joe has to see the disparity in the last 3 elections.

Was he lying? Isn’t 2025 one of the main left attack points?
Impeach him?
Try him on bullahit charges in several jurisdictions?
Not let him run for re-election?
Who gives a frick what the left thinks?

I think Trump is going to stay out of it, but his surrogates are going to be the thorn in their asses

Full fricking transparency! Let the chips fall where they may!

Will be extremely hard for him to do but stay as uninvolved as possible with any investigations or prosecutions as possible and hold his tongue. Make himself very visible taking care of issues that really matter and let any of that go on in the background.

Country isn’t going to be unified. MSM and social media will keep spewing anti Trump propaganda no matter what. Enough idiots will buy it.

He won't. There is no unifying the country under trump period. Hell the Republicans don't even like him that much they just couldn't figure out how to get rid of him.

Let the DOJ and congress investigate and prosecute but stay quiet about it. I think Vivek as press sec would help him a lot with things like this

It isn't about payback imo.. it's about right and wrong.. if he turns a blind eye, they will just do it again to the next guy that pushes back against the system.. Trump has no choice than to burn it all to the ground and start from scratch.
This is the correct answer.
It's not about "what is due" Trump personally.
It's about demonstrating mutually ensured destruction so that the Democrats don't do this sort of thing again.
To quote Michael Corleone, "It's not personal Sonny. This is business."

This is also the correct answer.
Some guy on another thread was just wringing his hands and saying, "Well, Trump shouldn't exact retaliation, they'll say he is Hitler."
As opposed to the billion times they've called him Hitler already, WITHOUT him exacting any retaliation?
What exactly are they going to do? Call him Double Hitler now?
Call him Hitler in a louder tone of voice?
What are they going to do that they haven't already done?
Try to impeach him?
No, wait...
Try to impeach him multiple times?
No, not that either...
Try to put him in prison?
No...
Wait, I know! He better not do it because if he does, they might try to have him assassinated.
No, I guess not that either...
There's literally nothing they can do if he does this that they haven't already done and won't continue to do regardless of what he does or doesn't do.
So...

frick unity, it is done.... Go as hard right as Trump will allow and crazy as possible and transform this country... It is war at this point against Communist, no mercy or peace with them.
Posted on 11/8/24 at 10:16 am to SouthEasternKaiju
The hell with unity.
Posted on 11/8/24 at 10:20 am to SouthEasternKaiju
I think you foster unity by showing that bonafide traitors go to prison!
Posted on 11/8/24 at 10:25 am to SouthEasternKaiju
Can’t unify with far left losers, especially the educated white class filled with white guilt.

Some people committed crimes. Some people defrauded our system of justice, lied under oath, falsified documents, abused their power, violated the rights of citizens and opponents, manipulated people in their charge and conspired to commit treasonous acts. In my view, some people deserve hanging. There were gallows erected after the Civil War and nothing less is warranted now. Won't happen though.
