The excuse the Biden admin is using for high gas prices is that its helping with climate change. How does paying more for gas help with climate change?

Biden doesn't have an answer for high gas prices because the actions to reduce gas prices would upset his climate change fringe base. Do those morons even know how high gas prices help climate change? Or do they just assume high gas prices means high taxes which means government must be fighting climate change.

We're all paying > $3 for gas because a bunch of extreme leftists want to feel like we're doing something about climate change?

frick these useless frickers.

I would be shocked if we don’t use more gas then last year. So he drives up prices to save the climate but we end up using more gas. It’s just a way to stick it to the working class Americans while his wealthy friends get richer off of us.

When it becomes more than $30/gallon.. most average workers won't drive. They won't be able to afford it. Less gas powered cars on the road creating a neverending flow of pollutants...has always been the dream of climate change fanatics.

The government makes more money off of a gallon of gas than the people who produce it makes. That's number 1.

Number 2 is that the higher gas prices go, the more viable it makes all these so-called green energy replacements.

Simple answer. Gas has been super expensive in Cali for years. Everyone drives a battery car or a Prieus to save money. Biden is trying to force us to buy fuel efficient cars. They could care less if we average folks spend more money. It’s a small price to pay to save the planet. I hate em!!

Also makes economics for alternative energy sources more attractive.

Gas has to get really expensive before people are coerced to buy electric cars. BTW, they've developed a new battery with a range of 1,500 miles. One problem. It cannot be recharged. You have to buy a new battery each time.

liberal logic:
Trump's china tariffs are bad because they make the price of domestic goods go up, yet dems actively seek policies that make taxes and fuel prices soar - which raises the price of domestic goods. The justification? High fuel prices reduce consumption, and therefore, reduce CO2 emission! Except the vast majority of CO2 emissions are coming from large Chinese industrial centers, which were limited by (you guessed it) Trump's tariffs.

It's horseshite. Obama said similar things and then opened up the strategic reserve to increase supply and bring gas prices down. This idiot will do the same at some point.

High oil and gas just incentivizes China and many other countries to burn more coal as it is cheaper.

Then how can these asshats explain that green house gasses actually increased during Covid when all of these cars were off the road?

Causes people to drive less.

In their minds, liberty is bad, especially if you don't choose the same things they choose.

So, you have to change batteries every 4 to 6 weeks?

right.. but that seems to be the implication. "if you can't afford $5/gallon gas we're sure you have 60k lying around for a Tesla"
