This bill was directly passed/signed to target Disney BECAUSE they spoke

What did they say?

That they'd use money to try and overturn these sorts of bills (passed in any state mind you) and get politicians who support such bills out of office.

They can certainly say and do that, just don't expect a lot of privileges in a state where around 70% of the people think you're wrong.

How is that not nationalization?

Can I create my own police department or do I have to have state permission to do so?

Just remember the media, liberals, and ABC/ Disney are complaining about how bad this is.

It must be a great thing for Florida for this to happen.

You have defined the whole issue.

Why oppose a grooming bill, if you aren't grooming?

It’s exactly like voter ID laws.

You can kick and scream and make all the excuses you want: when you boil it all down, the only logical reason to oppose such common sense measures is that you favor fraud. It’s that simple.

You got answers, you just don’t like them. It’s not nationalisation because Florida isn’t a nation. It’s not even statism because Florida is reversing a situation which dictated to surrounding counties how they would treat a private business. The state has removed that mandate, and now the counties are free to deal with Disney just like any other business within their county. They can strike a deal with Disney that largely maintains the status quo or they can not. It is indisputable that this gets the state OUT of the county’s business, not the reverse.

That is only “big government” to morons.
