This dude is a bad Christian.

Can we have just regular nationalism then? Like having a border?

Plus the abortion thing is such a dumb argument.

if it's of any interest, Tucker had on a dude to defend Christian Nationalism this week and it was really good. lays out the spiritual vs. political meanings of the term and lays out where people like this are purposely misrepresenting Christianity.

I remember seeing this guy get interviewed by Dan Bongino during the height of Covid when we still had to wear masks on planes. He & his fellow Dems were photographed together on a plane to DC without masks & when Bongino confronted him on it he said it was okay because they were all vaccinated. Bongino proceeded to go scorched earth on this cuck & I don’t think they have let him go on TV since that moment.

He talks about the Lord‘s Prayer as requiring the forgiveness of student debts (Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors). This is just an indicator that he does not understand his Bible very well.

The Greek word which is often translated as "debts" in modern translations is opheilemata, which most literally means a person's "dues" or "obligations." (Which is why the word “trespass“ was often used in earlier translations)

The author of Mark was not talking about the forgiveness of promissory notes. He was talking about requesting forgiveness for the ill-treatment of others.

Pastor Doug Wilson

It was an interesting podcast. I see why secularists don't like this guy. He speaks quite a lot of truth.

The American voters, myself included, have done themselves a great disservice by focusing more on the clowns in DC than the clowns in their State congressional offices.

I keep hoping that moving the abortion issue, and hopefully more issues later, to the states will make more people refocus on the power closer to home.. where we have more influence.
The frickers in DC are completely ignoring us at this point.

That's apparently the least of his theological issues.

He’s either a Methodist or Episcopalian. Perhaps a member of one of the Leftist synods of the Lutheran church.

He is correct in observing that the Bible simply does not directly address the question of abortion. Whether it provides indirect guidance on that issue is entirely a matter of interpretation.

The Bible does address the question of sexual relations between two (or more?) men, and it does not approve. It is hard to argue otherwise without some level of sophistry.

It’s also telling that you use the term “state congressional” instead of “state legislature.”
