How do we get rid of Trump without pissing off MAGA?

There’s the maga culture that no one wants to get rid of but does it belong solely to trump?
Trump had incredible turnout but he lost. People have started to question whether he has the same following now that there are other candidates that can echo his maga message without the “baggage”. Consider that trump won against a lineup of cardboard politicians. They were a part of the swamp.
I hear people say that they won’t vote for anyone but trump but I question whether they mean it
3 candidates served under trump- Pence, Haley and Pompeii. They’re not viable imo. Despite serving under trump, They’re not maga. They’re patent opportunistic politicians.
Which candidate can take that maga culture, and still hold onto the Republican that is not necessarily all about Trump. Who can sell it?
Imo, I think deSantis is the future of the Republican Party. I’m just Not sure he’s the guy that can convince voters that he’s the one in 2024. I will have to see him on the stage with trump which is a formidable challenge. Something happens when people get on stage with trump. Jen bush, the odds on favorite, folded like a bad poker hand.
I’d vote for Trump in a heartbeat again. I just have a feeling, his wave has crested. he’s vulnerable. He won’t get the same turnout that he got before.
Who can legitimately carry the MAGA torch?

It’ll be Desantis in a pretty easy victory if Trump can get the frick out the way
But he won’t, cause he’s a petulant child and a loser
So y’all are likely in for a rough few years

One debate with DeSantis and Trump and it won’t be an issue anymore

If you or anyone else thinks that any other R will not have the same amount of " baggage" made up about them, then you are dumber than the average democrat voter.

Jeb never had a chance. There was no way another Bush was going to be elected in 2016 even if he hadn’t been such a horrible candidate.

How do you get rid of Trump and not piss off the MAGA folks?
Just hold primary elections and I guarantee the overwhelming number of Trump supporters will vote for whoever the nominee is without hesitation .
Would non-MAGA voters support Trump if he is the nominee?

Whoever it is, they will have to be endorsed by OMB. No outsider can just lay claim to the maga movement.

Swap his resume with pedo Joe's
Or let him get the FBI to raid homes hunting his daughters diary that confirms he is a pedophile and into incest like Joe
Or blame Russia for a laptop with Donald jr smacking a hookers arse with a crack pipe in his hand

Unless President Trump physically or mentally deteriorates before the primary and general, it’s Trump for me. He’s the one and only. Desantis has more to learn from him, assuming he’s maga. That’s a big assumption.
Everything he talked about at cpac is right on. Where are the other republicans including DeSantis relative to Trump’s clearly articulated positions? Are they in agreement with them? If not, what’s their positions?

It belongs to the people. You're not MAGA if your concern is the "future of the republican party".
People like you are why this country has been getting fricked over for decades

Desantis is not who you think he is you are being fooled

The cultists absolutely mean it. The real question is how many Trump voters are cultists and how many just think he's the best choice but will happily vote for DeSantis if he wins the primary? I don't think there's any way to know unless it happens.

Trump didn't need ANYONE to get out of the way. Took out the entire republican line up.
By the way you guys are talking, DeSantis does not have the ability to do that.

Keep trashing them and Trump like little whiny brats. I'm sure that'll work to get them to vote the way you want them to.
Keep it up

Thanks for your opinion. We’ll throw it on the pile.

I haven't trashed Trump. How else would you describe people who call him "Daddy", talk about drinking the Koolaid, "ride or die", burn it all down if he doesn't win the primary, concerned with "loyalty", etc etc etc? They're in love with a person, not policy. Any time you see people instantly demonized if they question ANYTHING about the main figure, that's a fricking cult.
I don't think it describes most Trump voters; I voted for him and it doesn't describe me. But they're out there and they sure as hell post here.

by accusing them of cheating and making up stupid little names
but the shine is way, wayyyy off that apple now
he also wasn't facing off against a cult leader that would gladly torpedo the party in a hissy fit if he didn't get his way as Desantis clearly is now.
