Most of them are in the old Ukraine war thread that got whacked. But some examples off the top of my head.
Sir Winston regularly says that Putin is a fine Christian man fighting against the Muslim and Jewish hordes who are taking over Europe. When the Russian army take a Ukraine village he cheers and posts the "feed me" gif. He routinely says that Ukraine needs to be overthrown because it is run by a Jew.
Trinidadtiger loved to post war updates when Russia was leveling villages and turning eastern Ukraine into a moonscape. He would always chime in with something like: "Now that xxxx has fallen the entire southeastern Ukraine front will soon collapse. "This war is over, its been over!!! Another 6 weeks and Russia will break through. Putin is about to really start trying." He did this for about a year until none of his predictions came true and he basically vanished.
In the early days of the war Seldom Seen was cheering on Russian progress and talking about what a badass Putin was. The first month or so he would say "The latest map is out!" And post a map showing Russian army gains. Then the Russian invasion collapsed and he quit posting in the thread.
They're all over that old thread -- and other poliboard threads -- talking about how Putin is the only leader standing up to the Woke, Trans, Immigrant, Gay, etc ideology that is destroying Western Europe.
These guys genuinely believe that Putin is some sort of defender of the Christian faith.

Vlad is perceived by some as fighting the globohomo new world order. When this guy is held up as the hero, it makes you think.

I think you misinterpreting their attempts at trying to tamp down the expectations of that thread on the OT.
I don’t know of anyone pro Putin on this board or in real life. I also don’t know anyone Pro -Zelenskyy.
None of those guys support Ukraine or Russia.
Hell NC Tigah is one of the more pragmatic posters here. I feel confident if he posted in that thread was to offer a more educated, unbiased solution to our financing the war.

This proxy war probably has more to do with threats to the hegemony of the USD as the world’s reserve currency than anything else.

Understanding Russia’s position and concerns about having NATO in Ukraine =\= being pro-Putin. You can believe both that Putin is a really bad guy and that NATO provoked this senseless war. And you can throw into this mix that Ukraine ain’t great either. All these things can be true.

Our foreign policy dictates these moves. Same with Iran and China. We force these countries into an us vs them choice and then act surprised when they don’t want to do what we say.
