To PR you, that's why. To make you feel as though you're contributing to "the cause". So you can be a part of the upright citizens brigade.
The government knows how to find these people. They know who employs them. They know the communities they live in.
I live on the Northshore of Lake Ponchartrain. Red as a motherfricker where I live. I go to this large latin market to get my tortillas, they have the best ones. Anyway, not a single frickin' person speaks English, not one, employees or customers. Those people aren’t nervous, not even a little. Place is packed all the time.
If ICE wanted to meet a quota, just park in their lot for a few minutes.
And you want to know how I know this is all a bullshite light and sound show? Because employers and especially corporations aren't being prosecuted, that's why. Bump this thread when the administration gets serious. Until then, I'm not calling a Government rat line for two reasons. One, I'm not a pussy rat and two, I don’t want to be on the Government's radar for any reason, especially for being a rat.
For over a decade conservatives have been so goddamn paranoid of the Federal Government that we needed to be collectively medicated, but for the last six months, conservative faith in Government has been so strong, so blind, so unwavering that folks are willing to let the Federal Government know they're open to being a frickin' snitch. It's pathetic the shite people fall for.
Call that line. I can promise you the person on the other end will say "we got one".
