Well I have a problem with that.
Mental illness has enough stigmas to fight and hurdles to clear without a bunch of people demanding special treatment because they "identify" a certain way.
I just don't like that the OP referred to mentally ill people as "freaks". Most are just regular people who have been dealt a bad hand genetically, just like people with cancer or MS. They didn't ask to be mentally ill anymore than our friend Ben Coleman did to have cancer. It sucks equally.

I would use the description that the Bible uses: they are "given over to their sin". I hope that they all repent and turn to Christ, seeking to live their lives for His glory instead of their own.
