No confidence one way or the other. I think Trump is by far the better candidate.
Considering policy issues like defunding police, reducing 2nd amendment rights, and reducing border security. I don't know how any rational person can vote for those policies.
Considering character issues like Biden selling access to his office as VP. Biden personally being hostile to voters for questioning his policies. Biden saying voters have no right to know his position on packing the courts. Biden being inappropriate with young girls and covering up his son's criminal actions. Biden having obvious indications of mental decline. How can any decent person vote for that?
I know who the better candidate is but I don't trust people in this country to vote sensibly. I can only hope there are enough people like me that have never felt compelled to vote before that feel compelled now. I have never felt before like a candidate was a real threat to freedom in this country the way I do about Biden/Harris and the current state of the Democrat party.

I wish I were as confident as you all. I know the polls were wrong in 2016 but why would they face the embarrassment of having it so wrong again 4 years later.
It blows my mind that people actually want to vote for Biden but I’m fully prepared for the worst.
ETA: The only thing giving me hope is to see ridiculous polling showing Georgia and Texas turning blue. That gives me reason to think these pollsters are completely deranged.
I’d say this is where I’m at

Not confident. But, I wasn't confident in 2016 either.

More so today than I have been since pre-Covid.

Donald Trump will win another four years in the white house tomorrow.
Hopefully bruce springsteen honors his promise to leave the USA and makes it a win/win on Tuesday.

70-30 Trump. I am scared to tell my housemates about what's likely gonna go down. It's gonna be UGLY in DC.
Biden has subzero traction in middle America.

Our President has proven me wrong so many times. I have no choice but to trust him now.

I would be confident if it weren't for the 2012 experience, where many conservatives predicted Romney landslide and the outcome was anything but.
2012 was, for me, what 2016 is to Democrats - a stunning gut-punching loss that you don't get over, and brings up bad worries each time.
I have learned not to trust anyone who predicts an easy Republican win in a tight race.

Clinton's supporters were reacting to the polls. Why would you even compare the two?

%100.
By a larger margin than 2016

90%
There has never been this much positive energy for an incumbent that Trump enjoys and as much apathy towards his opponent.
Many thousands show up to see Trump and ten show up to see the sleepy dementia patient. Plus, body doubles who are found out and have to scurry out. Amazing!

40%. I'd love to be wrong though.

I agree.
But in 2012, Romney, a dry toast moron, was up against Obama, a political and historical heavy weight (like him or hate him).
This is a 78 year old geezer facing Trump. I do think the scenario is different.
But I’m still nervous. Too many Never Trumpers
