I don’t see a positive way forward to avoid either. Supply chains are collapsing, manufacturing output can’t keep up due to lack of labor and lack of raw materials, Govt is printing money and handing it to the working class that normally would work these jobs supplying materials and making goods. Businesses are struggling, they have nothing to sell, they can’t make much, service quality is down due to labor shortage. Shutdowns already squeezed them.

It’s a recipe for mass amounts of business bankruptcy, bank failures, rapid inflation, and major supply shortages of basic goods.

Middle class and small businesses are about to completely get bent over and probably disappear I’m afraid. It will be the uber wealthy controlling the mega corporations while regular people fight for jobs for those corporations and everyone else gets welfare

This is going to be 10x worse than the one the media tried to artificially create in the summer of 2019

I really hope it is sudden and incredibly painful... this country deserves it... it is also the only way that things will correct themselves...

This administration is, single handedly and in 100 days, ruining the greatest economy in my lifetime!

Law and order is collapsing, and the financial business world is next....if it weren't for TRUMP policies, we would be down the tubes already.

Beyond inflation there will also be US companies moving out of the U.S. to avoid the increase in corporate taxes. One of my best stocks has been Medtronics. They left the US and went to Ireland in the final year of Obama expecting more corporate taxes from the coming Hillary win.
I had to pay the tax bill of selling the stock even though I did not sell any of it. It just changed locations.

Some dumbass tried to convince me that every other country's economy is going to suck it up too so we'll still be number one. This is why you should never use a liberal investment advisor.

It’ll make 2008 look like the boom we had under Trump.

How so? The MSM will just proclaim it’s because OMB and the sheep will eat it up and ask for seconds.

Venezuela didn't hope for this and it doesn't seem to be correcting itself.

Naw, when people go hungry because they cannot buy or afford anything, they will change their tune... unfortunately we will lose many when it does happen...

Now ask yourself what is one key difference in this country and Venezuela? It is important and currently under attack... think hard...

Where I’m at it’s open and while certain businesses are doing good such as restaurants, others are not. Places that manufacture goods, process raw materials or food such as chicken, beef, fish processors or lumber mills. Lack of labor to do the work is main issue. Service industry doesn’t keep the economy going and that industry also relies on the manufacturers and the processors. Cost of goods is going to skyrocket along with the dollar devaluing so those of us who are in the middle or upper middle are going to take it on the chin because we don’t get stimulus money or pay raises when they increase the MW.

When that happens your local stores and restaurants will take it on the chin because the above people keep those places in business. They no longer will be able to afford to eat or shop there and will be hitting up McDonalds, Walmart and Amazon so they can afford their mortgage payments

It's going to be really bad. All of my suppliers have already alerted me to price increases and the cost of freight right now is through the roof. I'm going to have to raise my prices too as a result.

Except this time the media will tell us everything is fine and that there is no 'recession' or 'depression'.

You are already seeing product shortages outside of the normal seasonal things... When they are not available then they cannot be sold...
