House Dems despondent over "sickening" Virginia decision and there is no cure.

What did people think would happen when you allowed such behavior? People do not want to be led by those who wish to change all norms of behavior.

I do not think people outside politics fully understand how insane what Virginia Democrats did actually was. They redrew the map so that five congressional districts effectively originate in Fairfax, which is packed with left wing government workers, and then stretch outward across the state like tentacles.

New Mexico did the same thing. They split up Bernalillo county among two districts and then made a large swath with Santa Fe being the anchor.
