Begging for campaign donations, nothing more.

I'd like to see that used against Obama

What’s the point in having a SC if congress can simply reverse all their rulings?

Which we’ll never have again. At least not in the foreseeable future.
I’d also argue that judicial rulings on official v non official acts and the resulting appeal decisions will provide more clarity on the issue.

Congress has always had that power, and rightfully so. SCOTUS’s job is interpreting the law. Congress can change it via legislation or amendments.

Are you asking why we can amend our Constitution?

They do not have the votes. This has zero chance of going anywhere.

Do these idiots not realize that both Obama and Biden will be going to jail if SCOTUS said otherwise?
No they won't. However I can guarantee that every Republican POTUS would be prosecuted if Dems had their way. GOP doesn't do stuff like that because they're "above it" or whatever bullshite they float out.

“Congress' regulatory authority over the Court is not unlimited. For example, it cannot dictate case outcomes or mandate the use of particular interpretive methodologies, such as originalism or living constitutionalism. Doing so would usurp the core of "The judicial Power of the United States," which Article III says is vested in the Supreme Court and lower federal courts, not in the legislative branch. If "judicial power" has any meaning at all, it includes the power to decide cases independently, without coercion by other branches of government.”

Do you understand what a Constitutional Amendment is?
It changes the Constitution, which means if they were able to complete the process, the Supreme Court would be bound by the new version of the Constitution.
Also, for more 1st grade civics, more than the House would need to be involved to finalize this process.

Democratic New York Rep. Joe Morelle announced Monday that he will file a constitutional amendment that will virtually invalidate the Supreme Court's recent ruling on presidential immunity.
Fine.
Now he just needs to convince 2/3rds of the Senate and 3/4ths of the state legislatures.

The headline might as well be, "Democratic lawmaker proposes something that will never happen in order to get his name out there on social media."

The way the tweet in the OP reads, apparently most people don't.
The level of civics education I use to debate/discuss on this board is 8th grade level. At least have that level of civics education as a baseline for a U.S. citizen.
