Spare us… FaggieHank is not half as smart as he thinks he is. All three “trans” bills involve a tremendous amount of government overreach.

In the case of the procedures bill, I think we have a state wide compelling interest as this is a medical and safety issue.

To me this is similar to requiring car seats for little kids, or laws preventing child abuse.

The other two trans bills have no such compelling state interest. They are just old fashioned attempts to criminalize moral behaviors sone people disagree with.

It’s rare I say this, but by overriding this veto, and not the other two, the legislature got it right three times out of three.

I get after Hank as much as anybody on this site. I think his schtick is tired. However, in this thread he read the actual bill and called it clean. He is correct.
