Crazy how the 17 year old can’t be named, because he’s a juvenile, but a five year old can transition their gender. Horrible story, bless her family.

The NAACP is a massively racist organization. I can see defending a man of any color because you KNOW he is 100% innocent... But throwing massive weight and money behind him just because he is 100% black....and therefore is the victim here...
frick THAT NOISE.

Cities burn because some black criminal dies from intoxication while being arrested.

Innocent 19 y/o white girl dies after being raped and dumped on the side of a road... nothing happens.

Oh, you can say, "It's different" but... is it? Does it matter?

Just more innocent blood shed so white guilt apologists can feel good about themselves.

Where are the screaming liberal feminists? Where is the national moral outrage?

We’ve got a major issue in our cities - including Baton Rouge. Somewhere along the line cops became the bad guys, DA’s and Judges started caring more about about protecting criminals than their own communities.

If we don’t fix this, we are going to end up with a bunch of walls and razor wire all over the country.

Tate has determined Reggie’s was the root cause of the crime. So he is going after the business instead of these 4 shitty animals.

Tate isn’t the problem IMO. But he should be working with the city and locals on this crime problem. If we aren’t seeing results, he needs to be more public. That email seemed rushed and half baked…as if he didn’t have time to read the room.

This is an infuriating story. Shame on those boys and the mother than gave birth to them and raised a bunch of little assholes. And shame on the bar for serving drinks to an underaged girl. And shame on the leaders of the city of Baton Rouge for repeatedly answering problems with inaction and ineptitude.

Time to recall Broom. And throw the book at those assholes.

No he hasn’t. And it wouldn’t matter at all if he did. It’s not his job to prevent crime, assign blame for crime, or hold people accountable for crime.

It’s not his job to go after anyone in this instance other than crawling up the city-parish’s arse—which he isn’t going to do in a public statement. Anyone expecting that is an idiot. Your blame is misplaced.

No but we had a very proactive president that made sure everyone was aware of the situation.

What has Tate done to warn these kids of how dangerous it is around LSU?

You seem to be under the impression that one single student at LSU, particularly ones from Louisiana or who are older than freshman, are somehow unaware that the areas adjacent to campus are ghetto shitholes.

Everyone knows that. Everyone. “Awareness” and warnings won’t help shite. The bars are in the hood. That’s where the kids will be.

It’s on the city to do something about it. If Tate isn’t pushing the city and state to do that behind closed doors, then yea he should be canned. But I won’t pretend like him putting out a release saying “hey guys, crime around campus is bad” will do a damn thing. It’s been horrible for multiple decades now. The university putting that kind of thing on paper is a death knell for enrollment. They are never going to do it. A serial killer is different than a rampant condition in that regard.

If he puts out public statements it makes a difference.

Why won't anyone in leadership make a public statement about the crime around campus?

Then why in the frick is having a meeting with the city and city leaders to do something about the businesses?
Why not find out why these filth thought it was a good idea to gang rape this girl and leave for dead?

You’re asking why the University won’t put out a statement acknowledging that crime is out of control around campus and that local police can’t control it or keep the students safe?

You actually don’t get why they won’t do that?

My kid is smart enough, and has the grades to get into Columbia. She wanted to go, but I put my foot down and would go to extremes to keep that from happening. DO NOT SEND YOUR NIAVE KIDS INTO CESS POOLS!

Hopefully, she'll be at Auburn in a little over a year from now.
