No. His job as president of the University is to raise money and run the place. Should he be down SWB’s throat on these incidents? Absolutely. Expecting him to do it publicly is dumb, because doing so goes against his primary job, which is to increase enrollment/prestige/raise money. The school is never going to say “hey don’t come here, it’s not safe”. Never going to happen.

The line between decent people and animalistic behavior has gotten much wider. It's common place now, to defend the dregs of society, with a slap on the wrist for criminal acts. NYC isn't even arresting people for A&B and they wonder why crime is thru the roof. You are a fool if you think you are safe in an urban area, that criminalizes and persecutes the people using means of self defense, while the predators run around with almost immunity!

How great are the career opportunities if you are dead? NYC is a cesspool of crime. To Hell with the subways, the fricking streets are safe in broad daylight! Oh, and BTW, Tim Cook is an Auburn grad. I kinda like my chances of my very smart kid doing well with an Auburn engineering degree, and being surround by other kids raised in a similar manner than the freak show-shite that is the Northeastern seaboard. Go look up what Desantis had to say about his time at Harvard. That was multiple decades ago. Think it's gotten better?

Fair enough. Auburn's STEM and engineering programs are top notch. I actually didn't know Tim Cook was an alum.

Lol at UGA in that list, and you’re not doing much for Stanford’s rep either.
I don’t know about their other colleges but there isn’t a thing wrong with Auburn’s engineering program, and calling it a “shitty school” just shows your ignorance. Somewhere like Tuskegee is a shitty school.
