THAT is the important information, I agree.
Trump saying a much smaller number than 250k+ actually voting is much more impactful than the 250k+ being registered. But he didn't say that.

Who made the claims about the number of illegals being registered to vote that you're referencing? Can you cite this?

The DMV list is what Cali uses to carpet bomb out ballots. Very easy to flip a switch and make those illegals eligible to vote in the system and hold those ballots to stuff the boxes.
Washington state does this too and probably why they have the insane govt they do.
I heard a guy running for office speaking about this and he said what they do is look at voting history using the people who registered by motor voter and if they haven't voted in the last couple of elections, they cast a vote for them.
Probably why Republican elected officials in Washington state are about as rare as hen's teeth.

Literally every democrat who has ever spoken about the matter ever.
Illegal aliens are registered to vote.
That alone proves the elections are not secure or compliant with federal law.
It’s not a one off. It’s hundreds of thousands of individual iterations.

Just one illegal vote is enough proof to scrap the entire system

Yes, like the following:
In a formal joint letter addressed to the federal Election Assistance Commission, several high-ranking Senate Democrats—including Senators Alex Padilla (D-CA), Jeff Merkley (D-OR), Adam Schiff (D-CA), and Ron Wyden (D-OR)—directly pushed back against claims of noncitizen registration
quote:
and there are already checks in place to ensure that noncitizens do not register to vote, as eligible voters attest to their citizenship under penalty of perjury..."
LINK
But that misses the point, imo. The whole argument against the SAVE Act is not about voting, it is about registering to vote. When Democrats talk about this issue their argument rests on the fact that it is the registration itself that is at issue,, not actual voting.
If the argument they have shifts from: we already have safeguards in place to protect voter registration rolls, to - yes, there are tens of thousands or more ineligible voters on the rolls, but they don't vote . . . - well you can see who is losing that argument.

In the sentence just prior they admit there is some low numbers of illegals voting
And their primary arguments is about the actual voting
quote:
As you know, voting by noncitizens is exceedingly rare
And their primary arguments is about the actual voting
quote:
there is no evidence of significant voter fraud, including fraud involving noncitizen voters.

Trump didn’t connect the dots last night.
Has Trump ever connected the dots?
That's not his strong suit. He just says whatever comes to mind, stream of consciousness.
He's actually a very poor communicator. Vance is orders of magnitude better.

What Trump is publishing through its right wing propaganda network are the total number of hits, not the actual number of verified non-citizens. So no, Homeland Security did not find over 250,000 illegal aliens registered to vote. It claims to have gotten over 250,000 hits that have not been verified.
This part of what T-Boy posted is true. The part about voter roles being routinely cross-checked and verified is not true.

Is DHS going to release a report or do we just take Solomon's word for it

Also I looked and those 4 states automatically register people who get DLs so I imagine that's the most likely way they got registered.
The sky is blue. Now, ask yourself why a state would automatically register voters who get driver's licenses when a sizeable percentage of these are too young to vote or not legally able to vote for other reasons? Could it be to intentionally inflate the voter roles? To have a list of names to attach to fraudulent ballots?

Discussing how many voted is much more important and relevant. Trump should have done that
No, discussing the potential illegal voter turnout is more important.
If 100 people could easily cast an illegal ballot- do you just determine the 30 that did or FIX the damn system so that thirty AND the other 70 can’t do it in the future?
Your way is whack-a-mole. Reactive rather than pro-active.
Especially considering it is IMPOSSIBLE to yoink back the thirty illegal ballots in our retarded secret ballot scheme.
Sure, punish the thirty… but fix it so it can’t happen again.

That doesn't mean they voted and that is the valuable information (and it's accessible)
It doesn’t mean they didn’t vote, either.
The ONLY reason why a state would
- auto-register voters
- auto-mail ballots
- Not investigate fraud
- actively prevent audits
- Make it illegal for local law enforcement to investigate suspected fraud
…is if you want there to be fraud.
