All of this cancel culture stuff is often bad, ignoring history is a terrible idea and trying to hold historical figures up to modern standards is silly.
However the Mississippi state flag is intentionally calling back to the confederacy and secession. It is openly portraying a battle flag that fought a war against the US, the flag should be changed IMO

Hey SEC, how about you also talk to Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and Arkansas to change their flags as well, you fricking pussies? I’m for changing the flag, but I’m not going to take it from these bullying assholes who have another 5 schools in their conference (including their headquarters) and don’t call them out.

Right now the spectacle is much bigger than the problem. These things are concentrated into a couple of leftist controlled areas for effect but what happens when a mob goes rogue and meets actual resistance? That’s the danger.

You asked for proof, you got it, then moved the goalposts, what a surprise. They’ve destroyed defaced and scheduled to remove Lincoln in multiple places, they’ve destroyed Jefferson, they’ve added Washington to the list, they’ve even defaced Mahatma Gandhi and Robert the Bruce monuments.
