UPDATE to my nearly 100 down-voters, well, at least the "conservative" ones... help me answer this?

My friend T, a Southern University EE grad who now lives in Pearland, TX, is a 6'4" black father who occasionally posts on Tiger Rant, and very occasionally on the O-T. He loves LSU sports, and he and I have been very close for over a decade now.

We sometimes discuss politics. His wife is a lawyer and she leans heavily democratic. Almost everyone in his (and her) extended family always vote democrat. He and his wife attended President Obama's first inauguration, and he is proud to know that America elected a black president (though, NOT an endorsement of Obama's politics).

My friend T's ideology is unmistakably conservative... the only thing he leans liberal on is gun control, but not overly so. In some recent conversations, he is seeing the light that voting for Trump and other republicans is probably the better choice for him, his family and for the black community.

So he is on the fence, and I am helping open his eyes (and he has opened my eyes too). But suppose he stumbles onto the P-T board and sees a thread where Michelle Obama is being referred to as a man or the occasional one where she is described as a big-foot or even a primate.

How do you smart folks recommend I explain that to him the next time we are having coffee or watching college football?

Honest, reasonable, non-snarky responses would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen the massive Q thread referenced in an article before. I would assume that, plus the Poli board being the most active board on this site (by far) did us in.
