Dare we call it prejudice instead of racism?
I will treat a TPOS white guy and a TPOS black guy the same. They are both scumbags because of their personalities/actions/culture. But, I could be charged with a crime for treating one that way, but not the other.
MLK - It's about a person's character, not the color of his skin.
And yet, the "knighting" movement is focused solely on skin color. MLK is turning in his grave by how the so-called followers of his incredible movement are carrying that flame today.

Calling it prejudice doesn't make it any less bad

How about you just try treating everybody equal then

What?
Why would I not judge a man based on the content of his character? It's the only thing that matters.
Sounds like you want scumbags to be treated the same as mother theresa

Yeah, I assumed the other guy was a Spanish language speaker. Mulato is correct in Spanish, and in fact, is the original word (actually I believe the word is Portuguese in origin).
thx for giving me the benefit of the doubt. I'm just dumb though.

High achieving African immigrants have crowded out black Americans
Indian immigrants are very high achieving but two generations down, they have some screwed up Indian grand kids that don't resemble the high achieving grandparents.

Question: Do you know that these scumbags are indeed scumbags, or are you just basing that on an already preconceived idea of what a scumbag is

Is there any way you could cite some examples so I could know what to look for? I really want to understand and call out the fellow members of my race when they do this things.
Everyone speaks in generalities and never says "this thing" is what to look for.

I mean just things like generalizing blacks as a whole. Im not saying you or the people you know do it. But it happens. For example, black people are easily the most incarcerated group of Americans. That is a MAJOR problem within itself. But another problem is that a lot of people tend to label ANY black person as a criminal automatically before they have a chance to know anything about the person

people rely on trends to make split decisions. You do it all the time, food, women, people, driving, etc.
It's almost like you want everyone to be "ignant foo". And yes, I first 48.

See that's the problem though. I hear Folks talk about the prevalence of racism and no one can site specific examples.
Something like this would work, a large group of white kids tried to drown me in the wave pool at blue bayou.
BTW that actually happened to me but it was a group of black kids. I can only assume it was because I was white. I had never seen them before and we didn't exchange a word.
To me when people proclaim racism and can't even site an instance much less one as compelling as mine I have a tendency to be less than sympathetic.

It's not race.
It's culture.
It's culture.

So, are you of the opinion that white people are all 100% and only black people are racist? I'm just trying to get an understanding

Absolutely not. I just gave you a personal example of what it means to be treated in a different or hostile manner because of race.
I asked you to do the same thing from personal experience and you mentioned the prison system.
I truly want to understand who is putting up the barrier and how it has affected you personally.
I have asked this question before in other places many times and get the same generalities that you gave. Things like, "It's systemic" and "lack of opportunities" and stuff like that.
Tell me how racism has directly affected you in a real and tangible way or tell me what you have witnessed.

The only African Americans are African immigrants who become American citizens.
