The fact that never became the primary talking point of the fringes makes me think that there isn't one mono-instigator of these NPC talking points.

Eh, if there are any convictions it will be for the money laundering.
This indictment seems to be more of an avenue for seizure proceedings and possibly to obtain more warrants for other content creators (er,...independent journalists) the operation had contact with.
I doubt these people ever set foot in a Western nation again, just like the Russian assets indicted during the Mueller investigation.

The pol in the OG Kraken was directly involved in the formation of the CT while the pol in Kraken 2 was more of a patsy along for the ride?
I mean both led to DOJ investigations and neither have turned up any solid evidence for the theories. OG Kraken has been directly repudiated.
