Ok, so what's the solution?

He was offering prayers to God, as God commands His people to do. Nothing wrong with that.

Why do heathens want to destroy a praying strawman like this when Christians (historically, at least) don't believe that God is manipulated by prayer?

How long before gun control speeches?
DJT this morning said we need...

to keep weapons out of the hands of those who pose a threat to themselves and to others.
I assume he didn't REALLY mean that, though. Right?

Angelica Martinez, a 14-year-old student, told CNN she and her schoolmates were being evacuated at one point “like it’s a fire drill.”
“We were all standing (outside), but not even five minutes later, we started hearing gunshots,” she said. “And then everybody starts running, but like the teachers are telling us to stay put, but we’re all just running away.”
So the same scenario as Parkland? Weren’t they escorted out prior to the shooting for a drill?

There was a school shooting in Dickson, Illinois a few days ago. Haven’t heard much about that one have we?
he was stopped before he started killing. at least 8 killed in this one.

We don’t have a legal system in America that punishes people beforehand because they “might” turn into murderers
You missed the point completely. We have a system in this country that doesn’t screen for the people who are likely to do this sort of thing, and that makes society as a whole culpable every single time one of these shootings happens.

every gun owner has to go to the border to protect it!
Win-win-win

So pipe bombs and a shotgun? Are they going to try and ban shotguns?

You cannot have the current hard-line GOP stance on firearms (which has lock-step with the NRA for years) and laws that keep guns out of ANY American adult's hands.
The two are mutually exclusive.

like every event with lots of people or every downtown building you have to put security and check everyone.
Metal detectors etc.
If you have ever been to a federal building even an administrative one there is security.
even if you want guns confiscated that would take decades if ever to pass a law. Plus there would be a massive black market. so that will never work.
Lots of people are talking about there is nothing you can do. sure there is.

The NRA helped create the NICS. You are a moron.
