I've been convinced for some time now that DEI has had absolutely nothing to do with "lifting up the marginalized".
Yes - this is the conclusion that any logical person cannot fail to recognize.
To allow marginalized people to succeed by eliminating the onerous racial exclusion system the was a great boon to all.
HOWEVER, the leftists soon noticed that the 'marginilized' folk who actually did well soon discovered that the best form of government was meritocracy and rejected the 'just put a minority in there' theory of the left.
And nobody is more hated by the 'anti-racist' idiots than a successful black conservative.

And this kind of stuff is going on through out the country in other fields such as medicine, where schools are making decisions not on merit but on skin color

They refused to implement his polices. You know that. Which is why all of the workers in DC are sweating bullets because this time he is going to FIRE anyone refusing to implement all of his policies. They work at the behest of the President. They are his employees. If they don't like it, they can get the frick out. If they continue to obstruct, I hope he jails them.

Is there a link to what this is from? I'm interested in more specifics than one sensational passage you clipped form and unknown source

To me - it's about destroying the institutions by forcing incompetents to lead them into the ground.
I think there is some of this. But there’s a lot of people who believe that if there was a level playing field that 50% of CEOs would be female.

This is so axiomatic that it hurts.

Bitch grow up.
Trump was fought tooth and nail, to fix even a flat tire, by the tards that wanted "muh unkept promises" including assholes like you.

ATC has been hiring unqualified people for 10 years yet flight safety increased in the same time period, while flight traffic volume has increased?
Because tech and automation are still out pacing diversity incompetence. But it's only a matter of time.

I retired from the military and my MOS was air traffic Control. I’ve been rated in several air traffic control facilities. Bottom line, to do that job a person must have the aptitude for it. I’ve seen some really smart people that simply couldn’t do it. It’s like a smart person that is bad at puzzles. Some people can do it while others just can’t. I’ve even seen some that wasn’t too bright be excellent at the job. But to figure if a person does or does not have the aptitude, we go through months of training to find out. Those that can’t, wash out in the training program. Anyway, I say all of that to say this. Standards matter! And to lessen those standards can cost lives. I don’t know if these crashes were ATC fault but I do know that when near-misses or mid-air collisions occur, the controller is immediately taken off of position and an investigation is initiated to determine fault. Everything is recorded. So, maybe we’ll find out who is at fault with these incidents.

There are some liberals I know that need taken down a few pegs, and this will do it.

Its happening throughout the medical field.

The recording in this case seems to be the voice of a white male.

ATC did nothing wrong
Not the point. They were understaffed. There was supposed to be another ATC specifically dedicated to the helos vs one juggling both.
The controller in communication with PAT 225 may not have done anything wrong, followed procedures in place.
Per a Helo pilot on Bongino yesterday however the practice of allowing helos to be cleared for visual separation so close to commercial flights so frequently is inherently dangerous and may be the biggest contributing factor.
Who is responsible for putting that procedure into place to begin with is a question that needs to be asked.

DEI can rear its head in many ways leading to the understaffing, or poor decisions being made in what procedures are put into place in the first place re clearing helos for visual flight separation so close to incoming flights all the time, not just the actions of the individual ATC.
Also it was a woman pilot on the helo in a unit that has another trans pilot, and suspicious of this having been a malicious act are surfacing.
DEI may have played a part in keeping emotionally unstable army pilots on active duty here, no way to tell.

Take MAGA and DEI out of it In any agency, especially those with a core mission that includes saving lives or avoiding disaster, any “mission” beyond that primary one must be purged. For example - If there are stronger, more capable men at USSS than a woman on a specific detail (one which doesn’t REQUIRE a female) - what on earth are we doing here? You can say that and simultaneously believe/acknowledge that there are many brave and honorable women at USSS. But representation or rewarding their hard work isn’t the core mission of USSS. It is bizarre we’re at a place where this is controversial
It is bizarre and maddening to anyone with common sense.
Great post by the way.

It was Obama that replaced the skills-based test with the biological diversity questionnaire. What we're seeing now is the fruit of that.
