Did she throw the water at them? I couldn't really tell. If it was boiling water, that was very much a threat.
The cop alleges she does after the shooting when he is detailing the shooting to the cops who are arriving.

Because he’s a shite bag who will happily inflame racial tensions leading to violence and death for purely political reasons.
It's hard to see anything about the current American Democrat Party that is anything but completely vile and destructive of basically everything at this point.

So tired of old politicians having teams to write shite on social media that they would never personally say.
At least trump's shite sounds like stuff he'd actually say. For Biden's social media posts to look authentic, they need to be incoherent.

No excuse for this. He should get life in prison. Her family should sue the heck out of the city. The murder of innocent people by the cops is getting ridiculous.

Gotta hand it to the cop. He followed through on his threat, consequences be damned. He'll go to jail, but what else will burn as a result?

They couldn’t have come up with something more divisive and counter-productive to improving race relations than that. Sickening.
Your characterization of the tweet below is absolutely false. Yes, this incident may very well be anecdotal rather than representative of a true pattern, but do you really believe it completely irrational of a black person to hear of this incident and have some trepidation about calling the police?
Hell, I am a white man, and hearing this story makes me a little distrustful of the police without any regard to my race.

Sonya’s death at the hands of a police officer reminds us that all too often Black Americans face fears for their safety in ways many of the rest of us do not.
Sorry, but this tweet is simply saying “be empathetic to other people”.

So if anybody is ever tempted to believe that “this is just politics, in the end both sides want what’s best for America but have different opinions about it”,
If anything, your quote shows that you do have an agenda, and that you falsely vilify people to promote it.

That and I'm wondering if the 911 operator suggested that she get something to defend herself. Maybe all she had for self defense was to boil water?
A few years ago when I lived in union county, nc.. someone was banging on our doors at 2am in the morning, also turning the doorknob trying to get in. The 911 operator asked me if I had anything to defend myself with...and asked me to get it. Thankfully the people trying to get in left on their own and never put me in a position to need to defend my family. And the cops were slow as hell, and didn't actually get to my house until over an hour after i placed the 911 call... so I was never in a situation where I was holding my self defense weapon when the police showed up.

In reality even when you adjust for population numbers more unarmed white people are killed by police than black people per police interaction. It’s really not even close either. I’m sick and tired of seeing them push this lie and even more sick and tired of people buying it without looking into the facts

True. That cop should never see the outside of a prison ever again. Ever. She quite literally posed no real threat to him whatsoever. Biden is still a POS for race baiting with it, but that's to be expected from whomever is running things. But the cop... eh... he's done for. Or should be.
You fully admit that it was a bad shoot.
Biden’s tweet basically says “have empathy for black people who are scared of the police” after a black woman was the victim of a bad shoot.
How is that “race baiting”?
I mean, honestly, should he say something like “before all you black folks get to feeling like this was all racial, here’s a bunch of statistics we have showing that white people are more likely to be the victims of bad police shoots”? (Fwiw, I have no idea if such statistics exist or what they may or may not prove)
For that matter, even if we don’t agree that black folks are correct in feeling they are discriminated against by the police or subject to things like DWB and being profiled, can’t we agree that they do feel like that and have empathy about it and want to address it?

She really should have put down the pot of boiling water she was threatening them with
The cop that shot her told her “better check that pot.”
She does and then makes some kind of weird disrespectful comment that I can’t see as being a threat.
Cop gets pissed off and tells her she won’t talk to cops like that. He draws his weapon and says he will shoot her in the face. He was not lying.
She apologizes and before she can do anything he does indeed shoot her in the face.
If anyone here did what he did they would be charged with murder. He should be too. And just like any of us would be charged as an accomplice if we were just with someone in such a case, so should his partner.
