I hear this argument from people on the Left yet I can't find a right to healthcare anywhere in the Constitution. What I can find, however, is a right to keep and bear arms. That is plainly stated in the Second Amendment. With that being said, using their logic, shouldn't firearms be given to us free of charge?

Like eating healthy and exercising? Yeah, those should be free.

Medical care on the other hand...

nothing is "free" and there is a cost. that cost can be monetary or access or rationing.

edit:

Free health care will have limits to access or delayed time time procedure/treatment or rationing of services due to age or other health limitations

Free college will mean not everyone will can go to college or you will be limited on what type of college can can be accepted to. and you may be even restricted to what you can study based on needs/government edict....

Anyone working in any branch of government should do so on a voluntary basis and while in these positions their tax returns should be public record.

you can not have someone's labor be your right, that would be slave labor.

It's right next to the clause about food stamps, section 8 housing and disability checks being a right.

You want to watch healthcare compliance with medicines and appointments drop, provide free care.

The less you pay for something, the less you care about it.

Everything should be free and all work should be illegal.

Crats need to think bigger than just health care. Go big or go home.

Nothing requiring the labor and services of another individual is a "right".

I wonder what % of people actually have no idea how much they'd actually spend on "free universal healthcare" and would flip the F out the first time they saw how much was coming out in taxes to fund this.

People don’t know what they spend on healthcare now.

If you have health insurance you’re either a leach on other healthier people in your risk pool or you’re paying for other people’s healthcare

And a BCBS exec’s Mercedes
