The truth is we should drastically reduce the amount of social benefits for people. This will force sink or swim. That will be hard to do because the other side will cry that children are starving, homeless, etc.

The culture is fricked.
And no one is serious about correcting the culture.

I care about my family and friends first. I dont care about the black community. If I never interacted with another black person again in my life, even if I included the best black people in my life, it would be a net positive for my life and id be much safer. Same for my family

Signs of a Low intelligence, low grade human being if you have no capacity to care about the world outside of your immediate circle.

Do you realize how primitive your comments sounds? When has isolationism actually been beneficial for human growth and progress? Your take it as some badge of honor, that very regressive and negative outlook on life.

The greater, evolving world doesn’t need to interact with that mindset. You can stay in your suburb or cave and inbreed that mindset. The rest of us will push progress forward.

Unfortunately this has been a barrier for addressing and dealing with the terrible behavior and societal degeneracy of the black community.

I think the biggest issue is that there are really no good black leaders that are in the spotlight. The example being set is terrible. Just look at "black leaders" in congress that are on the TV everyday. At some point, I feel sorry for people having to deal with this kind of leadership that the news constantly puts in front of people

Thats not gonna change though. This has been the strategy for years...its just a pipe dream that we can prop up some successful, moral black people in the spotlight and it will cause them to aspire to that. We refuse to accept that genetically, we are different and have different temperaments. We use strategies that will work for white people...to improve the black community and it just doesnt work.

Instead, we should use a strategy like Nigeria. They have strict schools. If they get out of line, they are publicly beaten in front of the whole school and those that have the best grades...they stand them up on tables in front of the school and praise them. I know this...because ive talked to some Nigerians who are studying here. One is gonna be an education administrator and he said hes gonna do the same thing when hes running a school back in Nigeria.

To a certain degree, I care about the world...as in I think its important that as a Christian, we spread the gospel. I care about my family and my community FIRST...not LAST like you people

I dont care how I sound to you. Im an intelligent person that has seen a lot of life and lived in a diverse number of places. I didnt come to my opinions willy nilly. Scott Adams isnt an unintelligent, primitive person...yet he shares my opinions

Weve seen your brand of progress for decades...it sucks for everyone involved

I'm meaning the larger favorable economic conditions of the time/region, not the event itself.

I gave an upvote for the entire post because I believe you are right. I won’t ever completely give up, nor will I allow “fatigue” to cause me to treat people poorly. Your very last line aggravates me, though. This country has done a million things to move black Americans from the margins to the mainstream. Part of the fatigue I have is that I see a reliance on this thinking as an excuse for major cultural failures, which ferments those issues even deeper.

Because after 60-70 years of all the help through DEI, welfare, affirmative action, overt racism from them that’s somehow acceptable, playing the racist card at every opportunity, and cancel culture if you utter a certain word, here is the result:

100% FAILURE

The have no more excuses! They had their opportunity and they fricked it up. We are tired of you blaming whitey. Blame yourself. We don’t care anymore.

Blacks were upwardly mobile, had strong nuclear families with lower rates of divorce than whites, and strong religious participation… until LBJ and the Civil Rights Act subsidized broken families.

The anecdotal info I'd read was that there was a higher percentage of black college graduates prior to WWII than in the 21st century.

Once it becomes more politically advantageous for Dems to cater to other ethnic groups than blacks, its game over for the American blacks. They had 60 years to take advantage of both educational and financial assistance programs. Their interests will be forgotten the moment they become statistically insignificant at the voting booth.

Why should I worry about a percentage of society that hardly EVER contributes to lifting up their own. It's a helluva lot more take than give with black culture. And no matter how you shake it out, 13% will NEVER be equal to 70%. The math doesn't work.

I think this is obviously false. The Creole’s in New Orleans were highly productive, aristocratic, and sophisticated. It was only until the Americans came in after the Louisiana purchase, that their status was reduced and destroyed. Then they were lumped in with the Haitians.
