DJT trashing him as a loser and adopting leftist talking points the last six months has completely turned me off on the whole race. I'm just going to join SirWinston in the RFK, Jr. camp.

I guess that’s the quickest way to identify total dumbasses with no conservative principles.

Anyone supporting RFK is less of a conservative than Jjdoc.

Might as well write in for Bernie too while you're at it.

It’s pretty cringey and looks pathetic. I just don’t understand how he thinks it’s still a good idea. There are probably about 6 people who laugh their arse off at it.

So you are trying to say the Erickson isn't a DeSantis supporter? That Cern isn't... That Jeff Roe is not part of his campaign.

You didn’t know who Jeff Roe was two months ago. Now he’s evidence of the global elites infiltrating DeSantis’ campaign.

Do you ever think you might be led around by the nose?

Yes. It’s ok to lie because your opponents are lying. Good argument.

LOL! That's not my argument at all. It's that you are bias towards one side.

If Trump would’ve come out as a leader and said “I look forward to the challenge of campaigning against Ron. We need to cultivate young talent in the party”, I’d say he would have a better shot in the general. Maintaining the status quo from 15-16 isn’t bringing anyone in, and more than likely turning people away.

I just looked at some polling. In some polls Trump is ahead in a November matchup. In some polls Biden is ahead. DeSantis is behind Biden in most but not all. I'd say Trump is mostly in the lead. But it isn't by very much.
The Hill puts Trump up by six points. That's the best I saw.

I stopped looking at polls in 15-16. That people still take them seriously, especially this far out, after the last 8-9 years, is hilarious to me.

I’m biased to think DeSantis will achieve more than Trump and that DeSantis has an electoral path to victory.

Correct.

I am not biased when I say that the skull and bones nonsense is a propagandistic lie. Or when I say that the use of the Trump’s campaign of selective Covid stats is misleading at best. Or a hundred other falsehoods that get repeated here by you as fact. Because you’re a bitch-assed liar who fancies himself a campaign strategist.

Don;t change the subject. This isn;t about them supporting Trump or going to support him. These are supporters of DeSantis telling you the issues

It's a coordinated media effort to scream RON DESANTIS IS FAILING HE'S DEAD until people become demoralized and start believing it. It's straight out of the democrats and Team Trump. They can't win the long war so they're trying to goad them into one decisive battle akin to the Japanese strategy vs America in WWII. Trump's Pearl Harbor was attacking DeSantis before his reelection. DeSantis has responded by launching the Doolittle Raid when he announced.

Guadalcanal is coming soon.

When I was stationed in Korea there was a propaganda campaign the norks tried. We'd find leaflets in hangul as they were only targeting South Koreans. I'd give them to my platoon sergeant who was psyops. He explained to me North Korea thinks Paektu Mountain holds the same significance in South Korea as they do. They use Paektu due to the cultural significance to Korean people and the mythology surrounding it and the start of the Koreans as a people.

To North Korea that makes them best Korea as they have Paektu mountain in their borders. A lot of their propaganda includes it. Most South Koreans are like "yeah, cool story bro".

This kind of reminds me of that. They're so full of their own bullshite they think everyone thinks like them.

Sad.

Not really. Only one camp has run its campaign like Adam Schiff ran the Intelligence Committee.

It's one thing to be critical of Trump for spending like a liberal - that happened.

It's another thing to be critical of DeSantis for wanting to roll grandma off a cliff - that's not real.

Really? Read below.

The biggest mistake of DeSantis (who if you remember I thought had a real chance) was to listen to 2015-2016 era Never Trump’ers. These people are disgusting losers who are always wrong and offer no insights to victory.

Yeah, I thought he had a chance too, at least enough of a chance to make it competitive. But the Never Trump’ers quickly turned his campaign into Jeb! 2.0.

Maybe he can correct? ?????

I don’t think this is an irreversible error, but it’s gotta be fixed ASAP. People want to coalesce behind his leadership, but don’t want to say so out loud. He has to give them a reason to, like in Florida.

Erick Erickson
@EWErickson
I'm on a number of group chats, email lists, etc., and all of them are dealing with ongoing threads of frustration about the DeSantis campaign. The perception is settling in that something needs to happen, but everyone has a different opinion on what to do.

quote:

ETA: It's almost like y'all have forgotten 2016. Do you remember when Ann Coulter said the most likely person to win was Donald Trump and she was laughed at incessantly? Remember Obama's mic drop moment? Donald Trump was never going to be president.

He showed up to the debates and won the hearts of everyone. Now he's too scared to even debate. DeSantis is getting all of the attention now for supposedly being dead in the water.

You are fooling yourself. The situations are as massively different as can be except for 1 thing. People are still anti GOPE.

- No candidate had the numbers Trump has in 2016 at this point. None.

- No candidate has ever lost with these numbers at this point in the race.

- There was not a machine put in place to take out Trump at all cost that has motivated people to back him.

Nothing about this race is like 2016.
