Their deflect responses are almost Pavlovian. I wonder if they even know why they do it at this point.
The kneel and grovel bunch is having a hard time this week for sure.

Does it say where in Philly? There are some areas near Penn that are bad news irrespective of who you are

I have always thought that it is a bad idea to chase after thugs if they stole something from me.
Some years ago, I recall a lady that chased after a thug after he stole her purse in the French Quarter. I believe she got shot for her trouble.
I don't travel much anymore, but whenever I went to a strange place, I always carried two wallets. One had expired credit cards with a small amount of cash and I kept that in my back pocket. My smaller, real wallet was hidden elsewhere. If I got robbed, I would hand over my back pocket wallet and walk briskly away. At least that was my plan. Maybe I'm chicken.
I wish the young man would have just let them go. What happened is a terrible tragedy. May he rest in peace.

The mention of him walking home from a bar after celebrating the Knicks win is the part of this story that stood out to you??

Penn and Penn State are different schools. One of the tweets just above said he was a Penn State student.

I’m not a moron, I know Penn and PSU are two different universities, and I believe this kid was a Penn student.
If he’s not it doesn’t change a thing about the story

South Philly. I believe the street name is Dufour, or something like that.
