The right has become too civilized while the left has become less civilized. In both the US and Europe the young people of the 1960s protested freely (against war, for drug legalization, end racial discrimination, etc). Today the young lefties want speech banned if they disagree with it. Jail for anyone who says an offensive word. I've heard 3 different videos of college students admitting that they cannot express a conservative viewpoint in class without the risk of their professor flunking them. Things have definitely changed.

Civilization dispenses justice. Examples must be made.

We’ve gotten away from that and gone to a place where wrongdoers get away with wrongdoing.

Yes it was. They didn't kill anybody but they got shot by feds. And people just watching peacefully from the sidewalk were put in prison.

Yes, I remember being a kid and the scoreboard worked starting at 4 yrs old. As a kid you knew single treats you lost and double or triple treats you won. All teams had end of the year parties however if you didn’t finish in the top 3 no trophy. Oh and draft day was huge your parents didn’t pay for pony league or little league if you weren’t drafted. 15 players per team. Fast forward to my kid who is in his twenties now. First game at 5 scoreboard didn’t work and everybody bats and wins… life has been made too easy for them and when they don’t get a job it’s a devastating blow. What the hell

Oh, they do that plenty in your local section 8 wonderlands. One scumbag kills another scumbag. Neither they or anyone around them will tell the authorities anything. A few days pass and another house is sprayed with gunfire for revenge. A 6 year old girl who had nothing to do with any of it is hit and dies.

That's what not being "civilized" gets you. We've got plenty of it. We dish out plenty of it worldwide. Soft? If Fauci becomes a problem to the right people, he'll suddenly drop dead of "natural causes". We're far from soft, pal. We're terrifying.
