Have we become too civilized (or soft, or feminized)?

Fauci and some of the other actors that have committed dirty, underhanded shite against the American people seem very comfortable and convinced of their own safety and well-being. Not just the fact they have security as well as a deep-state apparatus to shield them, but also knowing that the population generally will not act against them with violence.
Back at the founding of this nation, regardless of pardon or judicial process, these "public servants" would be tarred and feathered, harassed until driven out of town, homes burned. Into the mid/late 19th Century, lynching for those that were deemed to have "escaped justice" was not uncommon.

I wouldn't call it too "civilized", I'd say weak and tolerant. All this bullshite about equality and everyone should get the same. It became apparent to me years ago when every kid got a trophy kind of thing.
We've taught our young folks that life should be easy and fair...... and that's a damn lie!!! Life is not easy, not fair.
We see weak arse folks attempting to make it easy and fair..... and look where we end up! Boys can girls, everyone gets an A, nobody's feelings should ever be hurt, and disappointment isn't real!
The above is what's wrong with our society and culture.

I would say everyone is immune to all the BS because it is now on a daily basis and no one's life changes because of it.
