“Lead, follow or get out of the way” was once put forward by Lee Iacocca in an attempt to turn around a failing Chrysler automotive.

By now the supporters of Ron DeSantis must have chosen a respective place in the present political landscape.

I hope they don’t become like Mitt Romney.

I just wonder what they are thinking about the way forward for themselves as citizens and political proponents?

I hope not. We need to leave guys like Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, Dick Cheney, George Bush and Mike Pence by the way side.

They are dead weight and impediments to true change.

Desantis supporters don’t strike me to be like that gaggle of shite heads.

Oh boy. News flash - most of us who supported Gov D are firmly behind Trump for the general now. There’s this critical thing coming up in November…

But this thread was intended for the 3 - 5 Never Trumpers on this board because if there’s one thing you fellas enjoy, it’s having this same go-around with each other every single day, lol.

Carry on and good luck on today’s fishing trip. I’ve no doubt it’ll turn into a multi-pager.

I want to be clear here. Do you think Desantis supporters are going to obstruct Trump in some way or not show up at the polls or something?

Those who supported Ron Desantis supported what we all say we want and that's a legit conservative in the White House. We had a shot at that and now it's over. I don't know any Desantis supporter that hasn't moved on.

Look, I read this board and post here. When Desantis comes up, it's typically not his supporters that mention him. The people who mention him are the ones who call his supporters "Ron bots" or whatever. It's people like you that can't let him go. It's almost as if a part of you knows, right there under the surface that we let a true conservative slip away for a man who will never see the inside of the White House again.

Donald Trump will lose this election and when he does, it won't be the "Ronbots" that sent him packing. It'll be the lie of the independent and moderate voter and the Suburban wine mom. I think you know this.

You have no way of knowing this.

Then I guess you include gator in that group because he has voted for Trump on more than one occasion.

Roger is not to be taken seriously. His only position is anti-Trump. Just like the left. He will go against Trump on everything. So much so that he has consistently advocated for taxing the rich. He isn’t a conservative. He simply cannot stand Trump.

Paul Ryan In private business

Mitt Romney. Retiring from the senate

Dick Cheney Out of politics, with a heart transplant. Nobody ever hears from him.

George Bush Retired from politics. Nobody hears from him on either good or bad.

Mike Pence Retired from politics. Humiliated. Trying to figure out where to go next.
