Have the recent sexual assault allegations made you more or less likely to believe women?

I can honestly say that if I were ever selected to be on a jury, I would be highly suspect of claims made without physical evidence.

Feinstein, Katz, Ford. and the hysterics surrounding the super obvious fake claims should make every man nervous. The dog pile created by the Jap Senator, Gillibrand, Blumenthal, Harris, and Booker was both disgusting and freightening. Those people actually practiced law at some point in the careers.

These calculating, manipulative people have set back any advances real women victims have gained through #metoo.

I know I’ll be much more skeptical the next time some Hollywood princess screams sexual assault. Chris Hardwick comes to mind. He has been cleared of the chargers made against him. But his name will be forever tarnished. Has the same happened to her? Has she been labeled a false accuser?

Women still have the ability to ruin people’s lives and careers in this day of social media and TMZ type of outlets being treated as legitimate news sources. These are scary times. Some women are legitimate victims and they need to be heard. But I think these evil women made their stories being heard a little more difficult.

Not really.

I have always been highly dubious of "stale" allegations and claims that seem to be more after the fact regret instead if true sexual misconduct.

The recent events haven’t changed my opinion one bit. Fact based claims should be met with enthusiasm for the truth and proper punishmen should be pursued. In the #MeToo world no one should fear coming forward as people have shown they’ll believe accusers with no evidence.

On the other side there has to be a breaking point. False accusations need to be punished to the full extent of the law. Also, innocent until proven guilty shall prevail and nobody should have to worry about their careers until proven misconduct has occurred.

These are anomalous allegations. Trying to make them part of any sort of conversation or pattern or societal trend (excluding politics) is a fool’s errand.

No, not at all less likely, however this case, is an absurdity.

If women have the ability to ruin lives just by making a claim, they should have a scarlet letter tattooed on their face if they are proven to have falsly accused.

I'm the same as always. If you have a legit arguement...I'll trust you.
Otherwise, I couldn't care less about ANY alleged crime.

This and how they have handled situations like Bill Clinton have done more to harm women.

It doesn’t change if I would believe a women, it will still come down to facts and evidence. I just don’t listen to a liberals opinion on anything because they’re not honest and protect what they claim to hate.

The problem becomes when the situation is so far removed from TCY™ that it becomes impossible to make an objective and reasonable opinion about an allegation.

Liberally minded women scream on my social media, "it is so difficult to come forward, it is scarring to bring up traumatic experiences, etc.,". That may well be true, I wouldn't know. However, to ask that anyone making these claims should be believed implicitly is beyond ludicrous.

They have not changed my viewpoint 1 bit, because this is actually the type of thing that I already expected, from 80% of women.
Good ones are damn hard to find.

Less likely because of the metoo movement and the attempted takedown of whitey by any means

Some Hollywood chick recently (this week) came out in twitter claiming she was a victim and named her abuser

She went on and accuse him of having sex with her 20 years ago at a party. She mentioned she never said “no” but realized now she really didn’t want to have sex.

She won’t ever be able to win in court. But she won the fight of public opinion.

My opinion and my opinion only, is that the overwhelming majority of “sexual assault” allegations are bullshite. This hearing did nothing to sway my opinion.
