Surely if she was a Republican, they would already have a recurring character of her on the show.
Hell, they had one on the Former Seal, Dan Crenshaw (eye patch guy), just because he wore an eye patch and they thought it was funny.

The funny thing is they used to have a Weekend Update character who was basically everything AOC is, but now I doubt they’d ever do it.

SNL has always been part of the DNC - they just used to be more subtle about it. Chevy Chase is on record that he wanted to make fun of Ford so that he wouldn't win in 1976. That's awfully early, baws.
