The vaccine isn’t the mark because the Bible makes it clear that you will know the choice you’re making when that is offered. You can’t unknowingly take the mark. We could get into the status of the church during the tribulation(pre vs post trib rapture), but that’s another topic for another day.
Also, no one is getting a vaccine in the right hand or forehead.
I do think it could possibly be a stepping stone for the future mark. Compliance and not resisting play a big role.

You know good and damned well there is a rather large contingency of power hungry politicians, meddlers, and those who need something to fear who have NO plans on ever letting this die down. These people either prey on others' fears or relish the fear...those folks do exist. The flu would have been used more than it has been along these lines, but it's fear factor long ago maxed out due to how long it has been active but even then it was milked for all it was worth, flu shot this, flu shot that. Covid basically shut it down though. This dovetails exactly with what I am saying here...the flu cases were often deemed as Covid because the fear factor credit line was wide open for Covid. Why not? They were both communicable viruses and both could lead to pneumonia, who could really tell the difference? Gee, we need more control, let's call it all Covid!
Seems this Delta mess is being used as a means to raise the credit line for even more play by this group of folks, the fear brokers. They by no means want "normal" as you suggest unless it is a new normal, which God only knows what that is...getting past this pandemic will likely never happen, on purpose!
