I kind of like the Harry Enten guy. I don’t go out of my way to watch him, but he seems to just be a data nerd without a leftist bias.

The GOP has gained big ground since Trump's 1st midterm in all 4.

Trump's first midterm was in 2018. I think the more relevant question would be whether they've gained or lost ground since 2024.

In 2018 the Dems gained 41 House seats. They only need to gain 4 seats this year to take control of the House.

The republicans did gain 3 Senate seats in 2018 though. Maybe we'll see another midterm where Dems gain in the House but lose in the Senate.

I agree. Can you imagine if all other businesses could make a profitable living lying, like pollsters do consistently, how much better the world would be?

Yet nothing is ever done to these scoundrels.

I believe this has a lot to do with how state governments are percieved. Dems have gone off the reservation in those states.

Will it transfer to Federal elections? We will see. I remain hopeful.

I doubt it. Historically, conservatives do not reply to polls at the level non-conservatives do.

There’s zero chance of me voting for a democrat the rest of my life because of their infatuation with destroying the foundations of this country and their incessant flirtations with socialism if not outright communism.

But I’ve conceded that Trump is not going to be some major agent of change. This country is still fricked - just not quite as fricked as it would be if the DSA was bullying around a feckless Kamala Harris presidency.

The Iran war is complete bullshite. We should never have gotten involved in that.

This is such a beautiful example of stupidity. Your view is because you are upset with present situation you rather ignore the voting and let the chips fall as they may. If that is not the spoiled child behavior because you rather throw all your candy away because someone took the one you liked best

Cry more.

I'm voting for who I want to vote for. That's taking action.

You all cry about it.

Thinking you can get change by voting status quo is ignorant as frick.

Keep attacking conservatives dumbass.

As well as the GOP "gerrymandering" that occurred that will certainly help the GOP.
