This is another example of why putting women in power is a bad idea

Look up those Haitian gangs and what they do to people. It makes the Mexican gangs look and sound like altar boys.

any of those new apartments adjacent to a new solar farm?
quote:I believe, well... strongly suspect, in some cases solar farms funded under the Inflation Reduction Act (aka, green new deal) are being used to provide otherwise illegal (not authorized by Congress) housing specifically for law breakers otherwise known as illegal aliens who were processed by a cowed Border Patrol and cartel money launderers known as NGOs.
I haven’t noticed any specifically, but there’s room for some, and leveled land has been cleared. Why? Is there a correlation?
I've seen two of these where a solar farm was started or built, then right next door mixed housing (apartments, HUD style duplexes, etc.) were built. One of these the solar farm was just posts in the ground and a lot of signage. The other is an operating but not huge solar farm.
The theory being that funds from the New Green Deal get released by Congress to build/start, i.e. purchase the land with Fed dollars, which then get used to build housing for migrants. The land purchase will be the solar farm company through the normal Fed bidding process who then sells interest in the land to another Fed contractor and that money moved over for the construction of housing.

Is there any sort of industry or business in or around this town where a company or private venture might need to import some labor?
Gantts Quarry maybe. I don't think there is much else or any major chicken houses.
Heaven forbid these companies raise their wages to attract employees. Nope, you just pay off the right person and have people brought that can afford to work for terrible wages because all their expenses are being paid for by the State

All cultures are equal except evil western culture. We must respect Haitian culture because diversity is our strength. We’ll have reached the promised land when our small towns elect leaders like Barbecue for mayor.

Like the Winnie Mandela Football Club, except they don’t waste the meat left behind after the BBQ?

I am sorry but this is just not true, not all cultures are equal if you look at results.

That’s what I said. Haitian culture is superior to western culture so hopefully the Haitians can clean up this country. Barbecue for mayor.

Put together a town coalition.
Purchase the house next door to the city Councilmen in support of this policy.
Move Haitians in as renters.
Provide new renters with charcoal grill.
When the councilmen move, repeat.
This is how you fight. Or, go to meetings and bitch.

50 migrants were brought to the city
That's probably 50K a month to the mayor

Sylacauga Mayor Jim Heigl backtracks on earlier claim Ivey, Alabama federal delegation confirmed Haitian migrants 'legal' status…

After thinking about your question, I thought this might be presumed the correlation between the two. For the record, I’ve not seen any solar farms, but there is definitely land cleared next one, that isn’t a parking area, too big, and it is not being utilized at all. Nothing would surprise me.

UPDATE: Sylacauga Police Chief indicates language barrier puts both existing citizens and immigrants themselves at risk:
Sylacauga police unable to communicate directly with Haitian immigrants…
Putting aside goofy memes about pet-eating Haitians, anyone who claims this mass influx of immigrants into rural communities is not straining community resources is F.O.S.

UPDATE: Senator Tommy Tuberville says the Biden/Harris Regime thinks we are “complete idiots”.
As does the Mayor of Sylacauga, who falsely claimed that other elected Alabama officials in both Montgomery and Washington had vetted this influx of immigrants into Talladega County.
Tuberville: Surge in Alabama's Haitian immigration a Biden ploy to gain Democratic voters — 'They think we’re complete idiots'
….U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) recently spoke on the issue of Haitian immigrants flooding into American cities, including several in Alabama that have grabbed headlines in recent weeks.
The most highlighted national case came from Springfield, Ohio, which has seen an influx of roughly 15,000 migrants in recent years. The Springfield issue even came up in Tuesday's presidential debate, gaining a mention from former President Donald Trump and his vice president pick J.D. Vance.
Alabama residents in several cities have expressed concerns over recent surges in Haitian immigration as well. In Sylacauga, state and local leaders have received no information regarding the immigrants' sponsors and why they were brought to an area with little opportunity for occupation and employment.
Some residents told 1819 News that employment options in the region are lacking, further adding to concerns over immigrants taking available jobs. In rural areas like Sylacauga, housing is also a concern. Still, leadership in those areas claimed to have no information on why the immigrants were bussed in, who is sponsoring them, or who is employing them.
According to Tuberville, the influx comes as a result of the Biden administration's Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan (CHNV) Parole Program. On Jan. 5, 2023, the Biden administration announced its intent to provide "safe and orderly pathways to the United States" for up to 30,000 nationals from the applicable countries.
"They've abused this parole law and brought in a lot of people from different countries, not just Haitians," Tuberville said. They're bringing them in and putting them in certain places. A lot of them are working; a lot of them aren't working. But again, this is another abuse of this White House of trying to find any way possible that they can get people into this country that possibly can get them [to] go to the ballot box and vote Democrat. I mean, it's amazing to me what they're trying to do in clear sight, and Haitians are just another part of it. But it's another part of being overrun in this country by people that shouldn't be here."
"If you just look [at] what's going on in New York, over 50% of the hotels in New York now are being housed by illegal immigrants," Tuberville continued. Now that's New York City where they're 6, 7, 8, $900 a night. You're paying for it as a taxpayer. Same thing's happening in the rural areas. Some of these people are being dropped off. Hopefully, they're picked up to be able to [be] put to work. It's just unfortunate. There's no rhyme or reason. We're probably spending $10 billion a month on illegal immigrants in this country, maybe even more than that. And you remember, when President Trump was president, he wanted $5 billion to build a wall, and they said, 'That's way too much money.' Folks, we are spending your taxpayer money every day. It is a disaster. And it's a disaster waiting to happen with national security."
"I feel sorry for a lot of these people. They're being brought in here, and they're separated from their kids. Human trafficking is out of control. Drugs are out of control. ICE and Border Patrol have thrown up their hands. And what does Homeland Security Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas say? 'The border is closed,' I mean, they think we're complete idiots."
