Rate would be number deleted/number who are friends.

If you have 20 conservative friends and I have 10 liberal ones.......I delete 2(20%) and you delete 12(60%) then that's how your rate is 3x mine.

I have a cousin who is one of those people who decide daily, weekly, monthly, etc., which "gender" they are. I know she is mentally a whack job, because I have known her for my entire life. She was always strange, but a nice person and a cousin I enjoyed hanging out with when we were young and in school. As an adult she is just plain weird and fricking strange. She is obviously bi sexual, because she has relationships with other women, and has been married and had a son with a guy. Now she's back with another woman. That's fine I don't care. But about 5 years or so ago when the trans and gender fluidity stuff started picking up steam she started all of the ranting and raving about her gender and all her shite on facebook. I had to remove myself from that situation. I couldn't take the daily rants and posts on facebook about what ever it was she was carrying on about. We'd never agree if I approached her, so I just let it go and unfriended her on facebook. occasionally my wife will tell me "man your fricking cousin is off her rocker" and I'll know she posted something ridiculous on facebook. That's just the world we live in boys, it's a world of men, women, children, and they.

We both have 100 friends. But, out of those 100, only 20 of mine are liberal, but 40 of yours are conservative.

That reality has ZERO affect on RATE. IE..........if you tend to delete 1 out of 5 of your conservative friends and I tend to delete 1 out of 5 of my liberal ones, we will be said to have the same RATE even though I will have only deleted 4 people and you will have deleted 8.

Alas, the studies aren't measuring that you delete MORE than me.......they're measuring that you delete at a higher RATE than me. In face, THREE TIMES more likely to delete your conservative friends than I the reverse.

Hence, that means, based on the studies, that if I delete 1 in 5, YOU delete 3 in 5!
