There is some truth to that meme.
Isolation is the only way to stop the the virus Isolation is crashing the economy, which also impacts everyone on a much more immediate timeline.
How do political leaders balance the economic impact versus the medical/safety impact?
There is no perfect solution.
I agree. That's why a gradual phase-in as Trump proposed is wise. You can't just open up the world again because too many people are stupid. But at the very least small businesses should be allowed to reopen with guidelines/restrictions.

The virus can't be stopped even with 100% quarantines let alone just isolation, this has been told to you several times.
Your are spreading nonsense.

the plan has NEVER been to "stop" the virus
why? it's impossible
It’s possible. But it would require extreme isolation for a very extended period - so it burns out.
But you’re right. The attempt is to mitigate the impact of the spread to ensure medical services remain available.

if any one group should be in this it's the mainstream media.

No it can't, it can possibly burn out on by itself though i.e. saturation. There is no real way of "stopping" the virus through quarantines or isolation or social distancing nonsense.

even if we committed mass suicide, the virus would still spread to animals (i mean that's how it got to humans in the first place)
so i'll edit. it is possible, if we use all of our nukes to cover every square inch of the US

Thanks for the lecture lib. That’s what y’all do best. Might surprise you to know we can think for ourselves. Don’t need you to tell us what to do.

Scientists can tell the left anything. Those fricks never took a science class. We should tell them there’s a meteor coming and we need all their gold to make a weapon or some shite. They’re so stupid, but they’ll do anything to act smug...they’ll be pulling gold out of rappers teeth to save the planet.

I guess they're ignoring Fauchi, Birx, and all the other doctors and scientists on his team

In theory - it’s absolutely possible. In practice- I’d say you’re correct. in a free society with our social behaviors - probably not possible

That's not a meme.
It's a somewhat lame political cartoon.

Funny, they could substitute a sun in place of that virus, relabel a few people, and recycle that meme for global warming.

we need to have a conversation about staying indoors until next spring
