re: Gun purchasers may need to submit social media history under proposed New York legislation

Here's how this is going to work: A white man who posted an old picture of himself sitting in his dorm room with a Confederate flag on the wall will be barred from purchasing a firearm because he's obviously a dangerous white supremacist. A "person of color" posting a recent picture of himself with a blunt in his mouth holding a sideways Nine while flashing 100 dollar bills will be allowed to buy a gun.

Thankfully TD is anti-social so we good here.

I’m a writer and post about killing people all the time. I also have a pretty interesting search history and have ordered books about police procedure, firearms and poisons. Just looking at my post history, they’d probably try to arrest my arse. Taken out of context, I look like a serial killer or a sociopath.

But I’m sure nothing could go wrong with this type of law in NY.
