How many "Social Credits" will a New York resident need to buy a gun? Looks like China has the blue print at the ready.

Denying gun rights to convicted felons is one thing, as there is a clear delineation between a felon and non-felon, but denying rights on social media history is ripe for abuse because of the inherent interpretation needed. You use sarcasm? You quote someone else? You are taken out of context? You simply have a bad day and say something dumb that you don’t mean? Denied!
And just think how long it would take to pore through the social media history of an average user of Facebook, Twitter, and instagram (not to mention any other websites that might intentionally or unintentionally be covered by such a law). Now you have government employees potentially having to read thousands of pages of information and taking weeks to even finish the review, prior to making subjective determinations of your intent.
A lot of people will be denied their rights outright while others will have to wait weeks or months as applications have to be manually reviewed. And what about appeals? Do you have to give arguments defending each statement that is red-flagged?
Leftists are the biggest danger to freedom that we have in this country.
