Attorney who supported Trump jailed for felony voter fraud

A Shaker Heights attorney who donated to ex-President Donald Trump’s campaign was convicted Tuesday of election fraud for voting twice in the last two general elections.

Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge Andrew Santoli ordered sheriff’s deputies to take James Saunders straight to county jail after finding the 56-year-old guilty of two counts of illegal voting, a fourth-degree felony.

In Louisiana, a lady out of Acadia Parish was convicted of voter fraud a couple years back. She was a well-known local Democrat vote getter/buyer. She plead guilty to improperly marking the ballots of elderly people she was supposed to be assisting at the polls.

She didn’t serve a single day in jail. She paid a fine. That was it. And Louisiana’s AG is a Republican.

Until we are willing to seriously prosecute people who are convicted of frauding our election system, then we will continue to have problems of fraud and cheating.

Did the applicable statute allow for incarceration?

The article that she was sentenced to 11 months in parish jail, but that was suspended and just placed on probation.

LMAO at all the ronbots and libs on here ignoring the fact that Stacey Abrams, Hillary Clinton, and Al Gore disputed elections and Al Gore's attorney basically owned up to it on TV.

If jail is the punishment, I fully expect Joe to be sentenced to death by year's end.

More than 50% of my family can’t vote in person on Election Day most years and they pretty much all vote R.
Between military, college students, Federal LEO, State Dept. employees, hospital surgeons, commercial pilots (domestic and internation), and second homeowners we all vote by mail.

The fact that 10 or so people voted twice doesn’t prove it’s a broken system. An election can still have a degree of inaccuracy and still be considered valid.

A dozen or so duplicate votes negates the entire integrity of the whole process in your mind? Is that the point? If you can find one irregularity you can sleep at night believing the whole thing was rigged and Trump won bigly.
