Because the refinery that makes your gas does not set the price of oil.

If you owned an oil well and the price the market would pay you went up would you say no. I want less because that guy in Tigerdroppings is crying like a little girl.

There is concern about long term supply bc of Iran stuff.

Give it another month after this concern is proven dumb

Compared to where?

You do realize that at any given point in time, some country is always going to be the biggest exporter in the world, but they still participate in the world market? Right?

The thread title states the US sells more oil on the market than anyone else.

There is a radical market ideology that says buy low, sell high. We are now creating wealth for the US.

As far as gasoline, the price is dropping and dropping fast.

Don't be a panican.

Because oil is a worldwide market. It doesn’t make oil cheaper in the US because we have a lot of it. The oil is owned by private individuals and companies. They are not going to sell it for less to you than they can get for it elsewhere.

I'm currently paying between $3.05 and $3.29 before any points or discounts. Not exactly "Oh my god, how can I afford this!" prices.

Seems like we’ve been hearing this since March. June is almost halfway over.
