Not only that not happening, and totally not Joe Biden's fault, but it's actually a good thing
The bottom feeders, like you, who refuse to work for even the advertised $15/hr minimum wage will still only produce $6/hr work rates. This is higher cost without any benefits.

Au contraire mon frere. It's totally expected when demand > supply.
In normal times we were able to get the kinks out of the supply chain. Now, not so much.

I'm frying some fish in a few days. The wife picked me up a gallon of peanut oil at Kroger's - $20 damn dollars for one gallon. Geez.

Gas is higher than giraffe pussy.
Not quite yet. I remember the post Katrina Bush days and paying over 4 dollars a gallon in Louisiana for a gallon of gas in 2005/2006/2007. Those days in Cali it was 5 or 6 dollars a gallon. (Truck Nuts for everyone.)
Of course the price crashed when the bubble burst in 2008 and it got as low as 1.29 just before 2009. (Truck nuts repossessed.)

It’s only going to get worse! I work in this industry and it’s ALL going up!

You should be fine. If the price of gas is keeping you from living, you got much bigger problems.

"They" can spin away but no body likes paying more. It's too obvious now for them to talk their way out of the realities at the pump and stores. I've not been successful in my trips to the store lately and today plan on stocking up. The toilet paper fiasco still haunts me!

" An affordable wage is everyone's RIGHT ! "
Wages go up, prices go up. Guess what? Wages will soon have to go up again.

I went shopping at my local market. Prices of my favorite items? Through the roof.
My favorite dry cereal (store brand) was $2.18 a box. It's now $ 2.78
My store-brand milk (2%) was $ 2.32 a gallon. It's now $ 2.89.
A half-gallon of Ice Cream. Was $5.78. Now $ 6.85.
A gallon of gasoline (regular) is approaching $ 3.00 a gallon.
What stunned me was the suddenness of these price increases.
Across the board, a huge increase in the cost of grocery items. Didn't even go by the meat section.
There's your boy democrats. The leader of the free world.

It’s a simple supply and demand I manage a grocery store, factories don’t have the workers, people were not buying as much product in the past year and now you have a large influx of people buying much more products than before when there was already a shortage of product being cut from various warehouses due to Covid.
The supply is trying to play catch-up with the demand and it’s lagging behind quite a bit.

The price of beef is stupid, good thing I’m about to have a lot of deer meat.
I recently read somewhere that we are shipping record levels of beef to China this year. Apparently they are willing to pay high prices and are buying as much as they can get... which also happens to drive up our domestic prices.

Car prices are having a huge effect.
Yesterday I brought my wife's Toyota in for it's last free oil change/maintenance. I was there for almost an hour. No customers. A few salespeople just walking around (with masks down on their necks if anyone came in).
When I was leaving they gave me a coupon so I would only pay $50 for next oil change. That's better than most road side oil places. I guess they just want people to come in. It's getting bad.

I just paid $4.35 a gallon for unleaded gas so you get the sloppy seconds.
