He voted for Harris / Biden.

Why do you think using logic is applicable?

As to “writing” specifically, I would suggest at this professor perhaps do a bit of additional research as to the reasons for standardization of grammar, spelling, etc.

Those elements of language have been standardized in order to enhance the likelihood that one’s thoughts will be conveyed in the manner in which one intended those thoughts to be conveyed. It is intended to prevent misunderstanding.

I note in the "about me" section of his blog he was sure to include his educational "rise" to earning a Ph.d. I'd love to hear his thoughts on competing with a candidate with "labor based" resume for the dean's position he currently fills. I'd bet he would be quick to promote his doctorate and the work and difficult scrutiny of his performance it required to become "the more qualified candidate". This frickin guy.

Standard.

No idea how it changed to that.

It was supposed to be held to a standard.

It's not just racism. The art of writing and critical analysis of writing has gone to hell. Some of you may be aware of the fake scientific paper that was submitted to a prestigious left wing journal a few years ago.
The paper was intentionally a POS with a lot of buzzwords that meant nothing. It got published with rave reviews. When the authors revealed that it was a joke it was just ignored by the embarrassed experts.

I try to use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc., whenever I write; even here. To me, all of that kind of gives credibility or not, to the writer. If you can't spell or use proper English, then why should I give any credence to what you are trying to tell me? I apply the same standards regardless of what race, sex, sexual orientation or whatever, as I really don't know who on here is what. If that's white supremacy, so be it!

I read it online about 3 years ago and then I just re-read the reference in The Professors by Horowitz 4 days ago.
But I can't find stuff on my Kindle without re-reading half the book. That's the only thing I hate about E-books. I can't take a pen and mark anything in the margin.
