Yet Clinton was the only one Trump could match up with. Odd.
Trump won Ohio by the same margins he won Texas and Georgia with. The only Obama state he won bigger in was Iowa and he produced the largest margin there for a republican since Ronald Reagan in 1984.
Ohio voted Trump, not hillary.
The end.

It's so precious that you think this proves your point.
I know more people in Ohio than you ever will.
They vote against Clinton, not for Trump. No amount of crying about it will change that for you. Sorry bout it.

This will be you in the voting booth.
Yup.
But I'll be there.
By then Trump will have pissed off most of his Trumpkins...and will be in serious trouble.

Why have you chosen to remain a republican?

Well duh it does.
Trump was not a good ideological fit for reliably conservative states like Texas and Georgia but still won them by a comfortable margin.
Meanwhile, Trump won Iowa and Ohio by the largest margins for a republican in decades because he was a good ideological fit for them as rust belt states with his populism for the white working class.
The ABC states were Wisky, Michigan, and Pennsylvania where Hillary had turnout failure and couldn't get her base out to vote.

I'm looking at data and polls/surveys.

As long as Trump completes the core objectives of a good economy and positive GDP growth, tax cuts that puts more money in their wallets, repeals and replaces ObamaCare with something that is at least decent, and stays out of stupid wars, his base will be happy with him.

Well, I'm looking at exit polls, which are much more relevant to this discussion.

It blows my mind that there are Trump backers arguing Kasich is full of shite.

It's so precious that you say precious just like your precious band member does.
You know more people in Ohio than anybody in the whole wide world.
Then you should know Ohio voted for President Trump.

Shove your exit polls where the sun don't shine, precious.
Tell us if you think Kasich will win when he runs against President Trump.
We can bookmark your precious opinion.

Even though Kasich has some very uncharacteristic view points for a Republican, I would have preferred him as president. Trump just has disaster written all over him on and off the presidential court.
