You stated term limits is a "terrible" idea. But then left without explaining why. Care to give an answer?

It’s just more emotions manifested in lies.

I remember back in the 90's when these exact reforms started being campaigned on. It's been over over 30 years, time is up.

He's not campaigning on them

The Florida Legislature is pushing it towards a Constitutional Convention to try and actually do them.

You know what I meant, 30 years of rinse, wash and repeat the same words.
Same as what dems do with their sheep, student loans, abortion, dreamers, etc. etc.

Except instead of talking about it, they are attempting to do it

Just requiring a balanced budget every year would go a long way to fixing many problems in this country.

I'm assuming you are a Trump guy. You know he couldn't have cared less about balancing a budget. But the US will never have a balanced budget again. Ever.

Its really interesting how mad certain people are about an attempt to do something 95% of people would want done

Can't speak for her. But there should be enough talent in this country for people to serve and then go home in a ten to twelve year period. Term limits is not a terrible idea.

A reminder for everyone, Vivek doesn't like this method of amending the Constitution. He thinks Congress is where amendments should come from. Of the method that comes from the People, he says, "beware what comes out."

They've been "attempting" for decades. Color me, and the majority on the right, skeptical.

2020 was a taste of MMT. They will continue to spend as much as humanly possibly with no concern for the future.

We are having two different conversations. Amendments aren't going to get passed.

But when was the last time a State ratified an attempt at passing a Constitutional Amendment on these issues?

These are designed to make Desantis look good, knowing that they will fail. But a couple of less sexy but far more impactful constitutional amendments would be:

1) Repeal the 17th Amendment (thus giving states power again over what the Federal government can shove down their throats), and

2) Require Congress debate & pass only Single-Issue Bills

1. If you’re a Trumpet you’re a populist, not part of the right

2. I’m pretty sure you’re the political savant who thought DeSantis would be facing angry Florida voters in a primary this fall, so I’m fairly certain your political insights shouldn’t be taken seriously.
